Ive been selling my used [and some brand new!] wedding items on weddingbee, craigslist & ebay.

I don’t wait any longer than a few days.

I would say wait a week or two at most, then send them a message saying that since you haven’t heard from them you assume they are no longer interested and will be selling the item to someone else.

Having sold things online before, just a handful of days. I give them about three to four days, then move on. You snooze, you lose.

on craigslist you sell to the first person that shows up with cash- and don’t sit there letting them try to haggle the price down! someone else is out there willing to pay your full price, so keep the ad up until the item is out of your hands officially

When I sell online, I usually make sure to write “no holds”. First person that can meet and is willing to pay asking price gets the item. If they wrote you with just “interested”, and you wrote them back pretty much right away, I wouldn’t wait more than 24 hours after you wrote them. From what I’ve found, if they really want the item, they won’t wait to respond.
