I plan on selling several items from my wedding (decor, accessories etc) and would love your input on the best way to sell these. Where did you have the most success?
Did you use WB Classified? Ebay? Etsy? Craigslist?
I would love your input, tips and ideas as I have quite a bit to let go and all in great condititon that I would love to see be put to use by another bride.

Good thread- I would honestl post everywhere. You never know where someone is looking.

I’ve been thinking about this too! Have people gotten their dresses dry cleaned before selling? I think mine has some minor marks, so I’d almost rather try Craigslist first so someone can just see it for themselves. Also, I bought a 10 but it’s been altered to about an 8…do you post new measurements?

FYI, here’s my post from just a few days ago, asking about people’s success in selling wedding items (although the poll is missing for some unknown reason). http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/selling-your-wedding-items
Ebay has fees associated, I’d try other places first and if heavy or bulky items, look local.

Are you by any chance selling your centerpiece stands? Because I ADORE them!!

@lmk710: Sorry they were rented!! I wish I owned them. I am selling other things though if you want to PM if anything else caught your eye.
@MM423: I had my dress cleaned and preserved (it is still with them). I haven’t decided if I am going to keep it or sell it but either which way it is ready to go.
Thanks bees for your input. I have an ETSY account so I might try there and craigslist first. I have a lot of DIY stuff like our table numbers, my bird cage and photo props etc that might be more fitting for ETSY but we shall see.

I was actually wondering the same thing! I will probably try wb classified and craigs list first.
