Hello everyone! I need some advice…
Our wedding is in September about 2 1/2 hours from most of the guests in an area without a lot of hotel choices nearby. We have a block of 10 rooms at the little Inn / Restaurant that is catering our wedding, but we have 100 guests so obviously we’ll need more than that! There are 3 “budget” hotels within a 15 minute drive from the ceremony/reception site – one was really dated and not exceptionally clean but budget friendly, one was nice but required a two-night minimum and was pricey, and the third was not even worth visiting.
So now our choices are thus: a) pick a hotel farther away (about a 30 minute drive) and perhaps look into hiring a shuttle to/from, or b) List a few options with the invites – getting sent out in early June – and let the guests fend for themselves.
I really want to be able to provide my guests with viable options, but at some point I have to realize that not everyone will be happy all of the time…right? Help is appreciated!!
