I think if you lined the box with tissue paper and used a fabric ribbon, I think it would look a bit more expensivE. I think the blue ribbon you are using does look a bit… Er…. Low budget.

They look fine…don’t stress. They are just going to be opened and eaten, then the boxes will probably be thrown away. Smile

I think that they look fine.

BUT if you really want to change something about it, the “cheap” is coming from the blue curling ribbon. You either need to add more ribbon and really curl it as curling ribbon is supposed to be used (rather than a bow) or get some sort of satin ribbon for a bow instead.

Curling ribbion actually curled: http://i02.i.aliimg.com/img/pb/379/224/248/1273462004364_hz-myalibaba-web4.hst.dsl.en.alidc.net_5421.jpg

The only thing i would change is the ribbon. Curling ribbon always looks cheap. I’d get fabric ribbon for sure

I agree with others that if you’re concerned about it looking “cheap” I’d change the ribbon but to be honest, I don’t remember much about what my favors have looked like in the past, especially if they’re candy.  I eat those suckers so fast I don’t even have time to think about it

They look fine!  Everyone is going to be going for the chocolates right away.  I don’t pay attention to ribbon when I have a wedding favor, especially if it’s food (or wine related!).

I think they are really cute. But I agree that if you want to make them look a bit more upscale use fabric ribbon. Honestly, it’s pretty cheap most places.

i think a fabric ribbon wrapped around the box would look nice.

If I were a guest, I wouldn’t care what my chocolates came in, because I’d just be happy chocolates were in front of me!

My concern is that the beautiful wine goblet charms don’t get thrown away with the ribbon if guests eat candy and leave the box.
