Awww, I’ll be praying for your pup!  Just try to relax and know that he is in good, capable hands.  Dogs are resilient, both in body and spirit, so the sooner he is fixed up, the sooner he will be back to his cheerful, carefree doggie self ๐Ÿ™‚

So sorry!!!! It’s so hard when a pet is sick or hurt, but like sarahbabs said, he is in good hands and they will help him. Hope everything works out! I’ll be thinking about you and your big guy!

Awww poor thing! I hope you get good news from the vet. I had a dog that broke her leg and had to have surgery. It sucks but she did just fine with the cast on– she didn’t even notice, and the vets dressed it up and made it bright pink and put flowers on it. She got a lot of attention with the cast!!! ๐Ÿ™‚ It might be something much less with your pup– maybe he has something stuck in his paw or a cut or something. I’ll hope for the best for him!

(I hope it’s not broken, but if your dog does have to have a cast, he won’t be able to get it wet. Go buy some cling wrap (similar to saran wrap). It sticks onto the cast and covers it from moisture, but it pulls right off without hurting him. So just wrap a new piece on his cast every time you take him out, and then take it off when you get back into the house. It’s so easy, and much quicker than dealing with a plastic bag and rubberband, like a lot of vets suggest.)

@MM423: I’m so sorry to hear about your dog. It is so hard to know that our pets are in pain! I am sending lots of good thoughts and my dogs, Charlie & Helo, are sending sloppy puppy kisses to your and your dog!

Aww those pictures are sad, poor doggy. I am very glad to hear it wasn’t more serious though! I hope he has a speedy recovery and you have a fabulous honeymoon.

Poor guy! Glad he didn’t need surgery.

And while you may feel guilty having to board him, it might be the best thing. It’s going to force him to rest.
