From what I have heard it is rude.  If someone is throwing a shower for you, I would leave it up to them to let them know where you are registered.

I think the general idea around here is that registry cards are not polite.

With 10 guests, it doesn’t seem like it would be difficult to spread via word of mouth.

It depends on your reigon – some places feel that it is incredibly rude to include registry information, for other areas, it’s the norm. I do feel like the wedding you’re having is small enough that word of mouth would likely be the easy way to pass along registry info.

Have you considered using word of mouth? That’s what we did and it definitely worked.

It’s considered rude to include registry information on a wedding invite (or invite suite).  Just spread the registry info via word of mouth.
