I just assumed that sending people announcements with the information about the Rehearsal and dinner for those in the wedding party was a no brainer. Apparently I’m wrong. A lot of people are telling me that this is something communicated via word of mouth or even worse….. Facebook ::shutters::
How can people downgrade such an important step in the process to facebook. I was practically laughed at by the groom’s father when I approached him about sending out paper notifications of this event. So, who’s with me? Paper or….facebook?

Are your in-laws planning an extremely casual rehearsal dinner? Even then, advertising it via Facebook is just … gross. My Mother-In-Law worked with a friend of hers who owns a stationery business to make adorable invitations to our rehearsal dinner, they were shaped like an engraved china plate with a knife and fork and a little black ribbon. Cute and elegant.

I vote Paper! I didn’t do anything fancy and it only took a couple hours. I bought a boxed set of wedding invitiations that weren’t too formal, printed them at home, and added a bright ribbon to it to make it a more casual and fun invititation.
