hi ladies, just wondering what stamps to use if im sending to usa? Can i get by with not including a stamp at all? is this rude? i was thinking of adding a clear label that says something along the lines of rsvp’ing through an email address. is this tacky? please let me know. I only have canadian stamps right now.

@MissEimaj: I responded to your other post.
You can definitely add an insert that encourages your USA guests to respond by email or to your website if you have one.

@MissEimaj: I think it’s fine to add an email option or just send without a stamp. People will realize you don’t have easy access to US stamps there.

@MissEimaj: Do you need a US stamp? When sending letters there, I know you can just put two Canadian stamps on. If you don’t have, you don’t have. Not the end of the world. Maybe put the RSVP card with a note giving them the option to RSVP by email?

@Moranar: I think she was referring to what to do about stamps for the rsvp. 2 Canadian stamps may work for mail originating from Canada but not for the rsvp mailed iin the US.

I didn’t include a stamp when sending invitations to my international guests. Most of them just emailed to let me know if they could make it or a couple mailed it in Seattle when they were visiting.

@julies1949: Gotcha. Wasn’t sure if you were able to get away with that. Darn.
