I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks, had a d&c, and my period came 28 days later. 10 months later, and I’m now 16 weeks pregnant πŸ™‚

Hey, I had a misc at 6 weeks, bled for 2 days, ultrasound showed complete miscarriage so no d&c needed. Then developed an infection in my uterus, and bled again, and had massive amounts of antibiotics. Drs then said it probably wasn’t complete, but is now? I don’t know, anyways took about 8 weeks before getting periods back, and longer for them to be regular. I’m sorry you went through it, it’s truly awful.

@beyblade1120:  Sorry you are still in limbo.  It really is different for every woman, I wish it weren’t so then we’d know what to expect.

Mine was a BO and I had a D&C on March 4th.  AF came 12 days later. I consider myself to be lucky in that aspect. Once AF comes it’s a relief. I hope she comes soon for you!

Wanted to add we just started trying this month.  Waiting for the 2 normal cycles was the worst.  But, on the upside I’m much more patiant about the 2 week wait time to test..  Hope you feel better it just taked time.

I’m so sorry for your loss, it’s tough but it will get better…

Mine was ectopic pregnancy and had to go to surgery due to my ruptured tube. I was 10 weeks and a couple days. I was 7 weeks when I had a terrible pain and an hour later had a bleeding that just lasted a couple hours, went to the doctor, I was asked to come back the next day for ultrasound. They said my uterus was empty so they told me I had incomplete miscarriage and had to do D&C. Did the D&C after a week but doctor said there was no sign of pregnancy tissue. Did a lot of test and had to take the metotrexate shot to kill my pregnancy tissue that is somewhere inside me. But it was too late, the day after the shot I had an extreme pain again rushed to the ER and that’s when they found the baby was in my right tube and had grown. My tube was already ruptured and I had some internal bleeding. The hardest part was hearing my baby’s heartbeat that same night that they had to terminate my pregnancy πŸ™ I was so heartbroken at that time. FH and I had plan that pregnancy for almost a year. But with my family and my FH support I slowly got through it, it takes time but it will get better.

So I had my surgery Feb 04, this year and just had my period last March 13th. And my ob gyn told us that we have to wait for 6 months to ttc again due to the methotrexate shot. Hope you feel better soon and good luck on your ttc

@beyblade1120:  Sorry to hear that πŸ™ I hope you’re physically back to normal before too long.

AFM I’ve waited out the “rest” cycle and am now in my trying cycle. I’m pretty sure I’m ovulating now so I’ll be going into the TWW soon. I’m feeling optimistic – I saw the OB I was going to use for my last pregnancy and she was great, so I’m sticking with her. She’s put me on low dose aspirin therapy, a more comprehensive pregnancy multivitamin and we’ve got an action plan – as soon as I get a BFP I ring her office, they’ll fax off a pathology request to my nearest collection centre and I’ll get betas done asap so she’ll know if progesterone is an issue and if I need to prepare for the worst. If the betas look promising then at 6 weeks I’ll get an early US to determine if everything is normal. She’s also talking to the endocrinologist I saw when I had an autoimmune issue to make sure thats not influencing MCs. Having someone in my corner being proactive about this has made all the difference.

@kcaggiebiz:  FX for you as you start trying this month! Why did you wait 4 months after the MC to try again–are your cycles long?
