Hello everyone! I’m looking for ideas for a sweet, thoughtful gift for my Future Mother-In-Law. She and Future Father-In-Law are paying for our wedding in full, and she has always been absolutely amazing and helpful, even well before we got engaged. In many regards, she has been more of a parent to me than my own parents, and I want to give her something really special as a token of how much her support means to me.
We are already planning to give both sets of parents a copy of our wedding album, and I’ve looked on Etsy at the jewelry gifts (she does like jewelry), but nothing seems quite right. Did anyone do something creative that might work in this situation?
Thanks in advance!

I had personalized clutches made for the mom’s and my grandma. There were pictures on the lining, and the colors matched the dresses worn to the wedding.
The seller is from Etsy. She was so easy to work with and very accommodating. I’m having a hard time uploading the photos of the ones she made for me, but here is the link to her shop.

Got it. I had her do a photo on each side, her pricing his for only one photo and then a solid side. I think she only charged me an extra $10 per clutch for the extra photo. They were a huge hit.

This is a great question! I’m in the exact same situation and would love to hear some ideas!
Those clutches are amazing!

Are you doing individual gifts for Future Mother-In-Law and Future Father-In-Law, or combined gift? If individual, I would say a piece of jewelry and a handwritten letter would be really special. Really, any gift would be special with a handwritten letter. You are so lucky to be marrying into a wonderful, supportive, loving family!

My ILs are still marriend. For my Future Mother-In-Law who collects Pandora charms for special evens I am giving one charm that is wedding themed. We also found a sappy thank you poem, putting it on a pretty background picture with a huge tree (which represent the family try), printing the picture out at Walmart and putting it in a cute frame, as a common gift for Future Mother-In-Law and Future Father-In-Law. Fiance is looking for something for his dad as well, something hockey themed (it’s their thing) that he is personalizing. And I was also going to write a sappy thank you card for each parent as a thank you for raising such a wonderful man and me being so happy about joining their family.
For my parents (who are divorced) i am making a shadowbox for each of them that will contain one of the first pictures ever of me which mom (for mom’s box) and me with dad (for dad’s box) as well as my 1 cute fluffy white angora knit sock for each parent, along with some other trinkets/sentimental items from my chilhood, a thank you poem printed on a pretty or cute background and a picture of my Fiance and me with our initials and LOVE 🙂
