Hmm..I have no clue how to word it, but I think it’s a cute idea.

Could you just do one meal for the kids? Choices seem a little much for kids and it would save some money probably. Kids tend to get pissed if their best friend, sibling or mortal enemy for that matter have something different than they do.I can also promise you that somebody will get their feelings hurt because of a different meal choice and then have a meltdown. I plan on packing lunch boxes for all the kids at our reception with food/snacks and cute toys. I found these darling leather suitcases and saw the idea in Martha. They’ll be on the table with their names on them and they can eat when they want.

Were you thinking of doing a separate card/insert for the kiddie info?  If so, you could make it like a separate invite for the kid(s) listing that they are invited for fun and games in the ______ room (you can make up some fun-sounding name).  That way, kids feel special and you still get the info out.

Ok – I’m a complete dork… in the title of your post you indicated that you were thinking of a separate card.  *sigh*  Is it Friday yet?

I still suggest making it look like a special invite for your little guests. 🙂

That was my suggestion to, but when going back over my post and spell checking, I deleted it apparently! I would make a little kiddie looking invite to stick in there or send on it’s own just for the kids. Very cute!
