For a while now it seems like my friends are split down the middle.
Half of them (my college friends) are wild, clubbing and going to raves and getting drunk every weekend.
The other half (my friends from high school) are buying homes, getting married, having babies. Now I know that being an engaged homebody places me firmly in the second category & I am happy to be there but I just don’t know how there could be SUCH a drastic gap(? I don’t know what else to call it) between where my friends are in life it’s extremely polorized I guess. Does anyone else see this kind of division in their friends??

I’m one of the very few in my group that are actually in the same area, but I still go out partying occasionally so I guess I’m the one who blurs that line. But now that I think about it, there is a line for sure.

@strawbs: RIIIGHT!?? Okay. I thought it was just me! Because my friends only have friends really in their same groups no one else sees it but me! I realized it today as I was browsing instagram: High School friend just had a baby. tons of newborn pics. College friends: got wasted at a rave.

Actually most of my friends are in both groups? i think no one really partied that hard in HS or College, so they didn’t get it out of their system. Most of my married friends are still hitting the clubs/having parties at home.

My HS friends are all socially crippled hermits. I love them, but they would much rather be home alone on the internet than actually see anyone!
My college friends are all married, some with kids, but we party WAY too hard when we’re all together!

@mrstau732: I think it’s because I’m on that line (married but still up for a party night out) that I can see it. doesn’t bother me really… unless one or the other starts acting superior over the other.
