I can’t honestly see how this could work unless you have the dance floor in another room. But to be honest, what sort of “having fun” could you be planning that wouldn’t make for suitable viewing to all your wedding guests?

Llsiena:  Anyone who wants to see what’s going on will simply get up, walk over to the dance floor and take a look.

Tell us why you think you need privacy. What do you have in mind?

Llsiena:  Most people don’t sit around and stare at the dance floor, other than during the special dances.

I assume you will be displaying acceptable behavior to the relatives during those dances. Stop worrying.

You’ll draw a whole lot more stares if you try and hide in some sort of concealed corner of the dance floor. That way you’d get everyone wondering what you were up to and sneaking over to check you out!

As julies1949 says, if we presume that your behaviour is going to be acceptable and appropriate then there’s nothing to get worried about. Just enjoy yourself!
