I am Sept 22nd. I’m ordering my dress this week and just book photographer. We are doing EVERYTHING diy so I got lots to do. Its my 2nd marriage and his first and yet I am still stressed out. Luckily for me school is out in a few weeks so my 9 year old can help me with making things while the 5 y/o and 1 y/o play together. I even just realized today I have no officant lol

@CodijoC:  My colors are black white and turqouise. I’m even going as far as making tutu dresses for my daughters

@CodijoC:  That is a cute dress. I am just doing a tutu skirt and attaching it to a shirt that I;m going to add bling to.  We are doing a backyard laid back wedding since we are both laid back and not into getting dressed up ect. but it is still a lot of work

@CodijoC:  I don’t have pics yet since I have just starting, but since I am not a flower kind of girl I am making pearl and crystal bouquets. I found some on the diy section. Pretty cheap to make when the items go 50% off at Hobby Lobby. That’s where I got invites too

i think the details are what takes the most time, were doing a tent at my fiancees parents cabin and a pig roast so the big things were the easy things, im pretty sure i had my venue, food, dj, photographer, officiant and dress all in the first month or so. it’s all the diy thats gonna eat up the time from now till then. i cant say i feel the pressure because i stay home so its much easier but kudos to all the brides who do crazy diy and work full time!

Hi ladies!  Just wanted to drop in and say hi.  I’m a little nervous that I don’t feel like I have a ton to do…makes me feel like I must be missing something.  Ahhhh!  I can’t believe we’re getting to the 4 month range….
