Super Excited! We have been engaged for over 2 years now and I am so ready for the planning to be done! I am also ready for people who I only see once in a while to stop asking why I’m not married yet! But I’m really nervous to be the center of attention..

Seeing the countdown in the 60 days mark is freaking me out. We are sending our invites out on Friday – It’s finally hitting me that’s it’s almost here.    ๐Ÿ™‚

I am definitely nervous and excited. We just got engaged in April, (YES, of this year) and the majority of this time I have been planning FH’s sister’s baby shower — but thankfully, that ended on Saturday and now it’s all back to me and everything wedding:) ๐Ÿ™‚

We still have to: Meet with the florists. Baker. Get passport. Do trials with DIY centerpieces. Trial Hair & Make up. Send invites (next week — late, I know). Get the girls in for dresses/fitting by end of next week. Get marriage liscense. WHERE are we going for our honeymoon? And figure out the hour by hour details for food, etc.

We have: my dress. Guys are in the process of being fitted for their tuxes. All the DIY centerpiece stuff (with the exception of a few flowers). Food, drinks, etc. Venue (obviously.

I feel like I have SO much left to do. More than i’ve even mentioned. But I’m sure I can get it done:) ๐Ÿ™‚

Ladies: What are you all doing for favors and gifts? Do any of you have a timeline set up already? As far as time of ceremony? Amount of time for photos? Dinner? all that good stuff, I’m having a tough time with my timeline.

Thanks a million! Hope everyone had a great 4th!!

@pengoala:  Yay for date twins!!!

@ninadoggy:  I have changed my mind soooooo many times it’s been crazy!  2 years was definitely too long, but wanted to convert our house to gas and put in central air last spring (so worth it!) and save cash for everything.

we only got engaged a month ago, and i really haven’t been too worried about anything since i booked the venue. i got my dress this past weekend and it has completely changed my attitude, i’m so much more excited about the big day! we still need to lock down the caterer, photog, and music, but i’m still not stressed out even though it’s only 2 months and 5 days away… maybe i’m crazy, haha.

The nerves are really kicking in now!

So much to do…so little time. All of the big things are taken care of, of course, but all these little things and logistical things…are making me a crazy person ๐Ÿ™‚

Super excited too though…I hope the image I have in my head matches the reality of that day.

It’s crazy that it’s 2 months away!!!  I am getting super excited!  There is still plenty to do, along with my fiance and i both moving out of our separate apartments into a new house!  i can’t wait to see everything come together!

Ladies: What are you all doing for favors and gifts? Do any of you have a timeline set up already? As far as time of ceremony? Amount of time for photos? Dinner? all that good stuff, I’m having a tough time with my timeline.

@summy00 :  you’re my date twin!  i’ve been looking for someone else getting married the same day as me!Smile  You sound like you have a lot to do, but you’ve done a lot too!  i am a slacker and still have lots to do.  i am still waiting to see a proof of our invitations!!!  i have no shoes, jewelry, hair accessories, etc.  my fiance hasn’t picked his suit out yet!  but it will all work out in the end!

We are making homemade soap for our favors (which we realllly need to get started on!).  I don’t have a play-by-play timeline yet, but i have the general order of how i want everything to go.  We’re getting married at 5:30, then plan to spend about 30 minutes after taking pictures together.  We’ll take separate pics before the ceremony.

73 days….In just over 2 months I get to marry my best friend.  When I’m getting crazy stressed I just think of that.

We have to get invitations ordered this week so they can go out asap, Fiance was able to find the latex spray paint for our cake stands so we can mark that off the list, flags have been ordered, we need to buy paint and flowers for the flags/card box/door letters, I still have to decide on flowers for the wedding (bouquet & centerpieces).

58 DAYS! I am so excited, but more so for when it’s over with, and I can settle down and enjoy my new life with my husband! I have a massive to-do list, but I am in the last few weeks of my final semester of school, so I’m working on that first, and then I have scheduled out every day for the month of August to get everything else done!

@prissyhippie: Hi, date twin! I’m so excited!

At least you already have your invitations! I still have to order the card stock and all of that good stuff! I still have to find shoes! My dress fitting is the 21st of this month and I have to have shoes by then, GAHHH!

Our ceremony will be at 6, no more than 30 minutes. I had thought about giving an hour for pictures, but from everyone’s opinions and statements — that might be too long so maybe I’ll knock it down to 30-45 minutes. Who knows. What does it matter if we run 30 minutes over??

I did another post just a bit earlier on timeline help and got some GREAT websites to help me out with it!

Good luck on the move, and I’ll be watching for more posts from ya!

I’m pretty excited!  I feel slightly overwhelmed and I’m a little worried about melting in my dress!!  I really can’t wait though.  I’m looking forward to the first time we see each other all spiffy!!!  I’ve had some set backs this weekend with Future Mother-In-Law making me cry ๐Ÿ™  But I’m ready to marry my babe already!  I’m working on favors right now!  I’ll have to post some pics, because I need some suggestions!
