One couple just texted yesterday and said “We know we said we’d be there and you just booked a hotel room for us, but we’ve been remodeling and it’s taking up all our time, so put us on standby.”
This is not an airplane flight. There is no standby list. You are either coming or not coming, and if you don’t decide by August 15 there will be no food or seats for you!!
Also, still haven’t heard back from the friend who RSVP’ed with “TBD. I’ll text you.”
I might be less stressed if I “lost” my phone for the next 35 days.

I’m finally starting to get some RSVPs in (exciting!) on our website so I’ll join in.
Invited sent: In groups between July 12 and July 20. 7 of FI’s still haven’t made it to their recipients as he is hand delivering to his friends, and 2 he still hasn’t decided if he is actually inviting. Urgh! Seriously!
RSVP yes: 21
RSVP’d no: 2 (A courtesy invite to my besty and bf who live in London. I already knew she wouldn’t be able to come).
Haven’t replied: 33 (7 of which haven’t yet been invited!)
RSVP date: I forget what I put, I just picked a ramdom date, August 24th I think. Don’t have to have final number to the caterer until a week before.

So far we have received 85 yes’s and 15 no’s out of 300 guests invited. Our RSVP date is August 13 so I think we are doing ok for now!

We invited 187, have since gotten 6 extra add-ons, and our RSVPs are due by August 25th.

I have an extreme type A personality and my RSVP count is driving me CRAZY!!
The guests have 1 week left to respond and we have only received 45% of the RSVPs. It seems like this is the norm, but it is frustrating!

RSVP’s are due tomorrow, we invited 202 people:
Yes – 145
No – 36
No Response – 21
We shall see…..

Update: I think rsvp’s are really really stressing me out.
We sent them out May 17
156 people invited
Our deadline was July 31 and at this time we had only heard from exactly 50% of our guest list. So here are the numbers after I contacted all the non responders. I’m still waiting on people and I sent out reminders via private messages on facebook
Not Attending 22
The other 54 who knows!
Now if Fiance would just start contacting his side like he said he would!

Update… My RSVPs were due 11 days ago. We mailed 88 invitations to 156 people and 15 plus ones.
We received back 59 RSVP cards and 5 timely verbal or email RSVPs. We finished chasing everyone down yesterday and have a final count of 91. This is great because I wanted a smaller event and was disappointed when the guest list exploded! There are a few people that we’ll miss, mostly on my fiancé’s side, but for the most part I am happy with the final list.
It feel great to have the guest list and the seating chart finished 🙂

Update – My RSVP due date is today, so far I’ve gotten 42 of 82 invites back and a few ‘OMG I forgot to send the RSVP, but I’m coming’ messages for a total of 82 confirmed guests. I’m really hoping for a full mailbox tonight!

Invites sent -mid-June, I think…
Total Invited – 112
RSVP Yes – 60 (ok, this includes a few assumed yese that are people we know for 100% sure are coming but they flaked on sending the RSVP… if you tell me your flight or lodging info that’s close enough!)
RSVP No – 23
RSVP Due Date – August 1
There are currently 29 outstanding invitations. About 10 of them are people that we invited a little late and I told them they have extra time to decide (one of them we TOTALLY flaked on and I’m sending his invitation tonight).
I expect we’ll end up having about 80 guests, but at some point I’m going to geek out and figure out what our local/instate/west coast/further reply percentages are.

I sent mine out at the end of June. RSVP due date was August 5th.
I still have several people that have not mailed the RSVP back. And this whole thing is irritating me because I put postage on the RSVP envelope, and these people don’t have the decency to send the RSVP back whether they are coming or not. It’s basically money wasted….GRRRR

My RSVPs are due tomorrow 🙂
Total Invited: 312
Total No’s: 62
Total attending: 233
Not replied: 17
I don’t think that is bad at all! I’m pretty happy with my turnout and that I only have to contact 9 different families/people. Now time to start the seating chart!
Total Invited: 119
Total No’s: 54 (basically half the list was from overseas which we weren’t expecting to come anyway)
Total attending: 61
Not replied: 4 (counting them as no as the time has well passed)
We mailed them in May/June and reply date was August 1.
This is the perfect number, I’m so happy for an intimate wedding
