We only sent ours out last Wed/Thursday so people just got them but here’s ours:

Total: 145

Yes: 14

No: 0

I’m actually hoping to get some “nos” soon because ideally I’d like under 100 but everyone keeps saying “Ooh I love the invites, of course I’ll be there” – of course I realize that a lot of the “nos” will either not RSVP or wait till the cut-off.

@hilsy85: You still have time! 🙂

Since my wedding is over the holiday weekend I wanted to make sure to get them out at 8 weeks since people will no doubt be making plans for the long weekend.

I just sent out 75 invitations yesterday to a total of around 175 guests (that includes kids/babies). We’re aiming for 120 guests or less coming. I know for sure 2 of my guests will be unable to make it, as they’re going to be flying to Japan for vacation the week before and a third may be a no as well as he is currently backpacking Asia homeless and doesn’t plan to return to the states until late in the year.

Yes: 5

No: 2?

I agree with everyone else – you have time!  We are getting married over Labor Day and have a lot of Out of Town guests, so I wanted them out early. Plus, I am a total control freak so I wanted plenty of time to play with the seating chart and make escort cards…

Invitations sent June 18th, 114 people invited (I am with Camrie – I would LOVE to have just about 100).

RSVP date is August 1st

As of this morning –

34 YES

2 NO

(A side rant – a lot of the people I have not heard from are the obvious ones, like my grandparents and my Mother-In-Law.  Really, can you not just stick the thing in the mail???)

We sent out our invitations on June 26th and have a received a lot back already. I am wondering if that will taper off for a bit now?

Here are our numbers so far!

Total Guests invited: 177

Yes: 57

No: 15

RSVP Deadline: August 5th

I am excited that we are getting a steady 20% no response right now. If this trend continues our final number will be around 140 guests which would be a great number!

To anyone who is freaking out: You still have time! Invites should be sent out 6-8 weeks in advance. We sent ours out 10 weeks in advance because our wedding is on a holiday weekend and we have a lot of Out of Town guests invited.

@septcabride: Oh my gosh me too!!! I had to harass my mom into giving it to me yesterday at her house! Her excuse was “Well you KNOW we’re coming…” Yes I do, but I don’t know what you want to eat! Nothing from siblings or other relatives. Sigh. I’m secretly hoping we end up around 130. Something tells me that’s a no-go.

@Bakerella – it’s insane!  Future Mother-In-Law keeps telling me “she needs it for her album.”  Really???  Because I just spent 44 cents on your response stamp!  And I have a code on the back so I make sure I get everyone’s response.  If you really need one for the album, I can give you a spare!

I have been really happy with some of the early “Yes” responses we got – total surprises.  :o)
