i’ve been trying to loose 6lbs. so far, i’ve only lost 2. i’ve been running at least 3 times a week and working out my arms. even though my weight didn’t drop much, but friends who haven’t seen me for a while told em that i’ve lost weight, so i guess it’s the muscle that i’ve built. maybe it’s the same thing to you!

Ehh…I didn’t have a goal weight per se, but I did want to tone up. I think I’ve pretty much plateaued, lol. But I am starting pilates classes, so hopefully that will work some magic over the next 2 months!

um, I pretty much am exactly where I started despite having lost weight last summer, I gained it back over Christmas and have not been able to lose it again. I am hoping to start a running plan next Monday in a last ditch effort to drop a couple of pounds. I really should do mor push ups to tone my arms but never do. I am kind of a weight loss FAIL but I am down 4 lbs despite wanting to have been down 15 by this point. I just started watching my calories again this week so hopefully I can knock at off 1 pound per week from now until Sept. 18, those additional 9 pounds could make a huge difference.

i gained some weight after Fiance and I moved in together last September. i was right around 128 lbs… i’m down to a steady 124-125, would like to get down to 118-120 (my normal weight)…

wanna get into a lil bit of p90x (i can’t make it thru the entire program), pilates, and back into my JM dvd’s … a lil less than 2 months to go!

I was down to my goal weight and then all of a sudden once June hit I feel like I can’t stop gaining even though I am still watching what I eat!!

I’m chalking it up to stress. I’d like to lose 5 pounds before the wedding, well 8 now since Ive gained, but my dress fitting is this weekend. How do you lose weight after that?

I was doing well until I tore my calf muscle, and have been unable to work out. I’m 8lbs away from goal, and one month away from my dress fitting. I NEEEED to get moving though, toning up my arms especially. Drink lots of water ladies!

I only wanted to loose a few pounds so I could enjoy all the dinners we’re having before our wedding, so I haven’t been working out more than normal.

However this past weekend after eating half a pizza, I tried on my dress to see how much it needed to be hemmed at the bottom (yes, I realize this was a stupid order of events).

Holy freakout! I didn’t realize how closely it fit me and I had trouble zipping it. I’ll definitely be working a little harder over the next month. 🙂 Plus I don’t want to have to wear my Spanx if I don’t absolutely have to (otherwise I’ll be sweating my ass off all day).

I was down, but then I lost my job and I have been nothing but a bump on a computer trying to find a new job.    I need to get my butt back to the gym and trainer. This is annoying.   I still fit into my dress, but I would like to be a bit less “Squishy!”

@camrie – I did the same thing – had a pizza filled, beer drinking night, the night night before my fitting last week. My dress fit, but it is TIGHT. I tested it and can sit down and everything, but a few lbs will help a lot. I am starting TODAY/

I tried to make it more about eating better so that I would have more energy and feel more balanced going into the stressful home stretch, and I lost maybe an inch and a half on my waist. That was pretty exciting! (I don’t like using poundage, since when you are losing weight you can gain muscle, or be losing muscle instead of fat if you are doing it in an unhealthy way – since what really matters to us ladies at the moment is our physical size in relation to our dresses, I figured that was a better way to track my progress). I’m pretty happy with that. I’m not model thin, but I feel great, and my dress fits well!

I never needed to lose any weight but I wanted to look really really good for the honeymoon.  I weigh 125 and started working with a personal trainer yesterday.  So I will be doing that 2-3 times a week from now until the wedding.  I really hope to be 118-122 by September 18th.

My first dress fitting is one week from tomorrow.  I totally know what you all mean… I swear when June hit… I felt like I was gaining weight.

@joannet123: mine fit better the next day (without a big food baby in my belly) but still I don’t want to have to even worry about it closer to the wedding.

I used to do pageants and if I can work out for them then surely I can get motivated to work out for my wedding!

I lost weight last summer, felt great, but was no where still near my goal weight..not even close.  Well then my Fiance got a better job, we had to find a house, close on it in 30 days, get packed and move, then the holidays came, then wedding stress (as you all know) and some hard stuff happening that just put me on the couch in a funk and didn’t care.  I’ve been doing the JM 30 Day Shred and in one week I lost four pounds, along with watching my food, and I can tell a slight difference in my stomach.  I need to keep at it!  I’m also starting a free pilates class twice a week and I’m trying to stay postive.  I’m no where near what I should weigh but I hope to just feel better about myself.

I’ve lost 8 pounds so far, but I’ve been stuck at the same weight for the past month and a half. I’d really like to lose another 5-7 pounds. We’ll see … my body seems to be really happy and determined to stay where it is.
