Nine to 11 Months Ahead…

__Submit your newspaper engagement announcement Probably won’t do until after the new year

__Order your gown, accessories and bridesmaid dresses I have a dress in mind, will likely have minimal accessories, no clue on bridesmaids!

DONE — Create a guest list

DONE — Notify out-of-town guests so travel plans can be made everyone knows and all of FI’s familyhas booked rooms yay!

DONE — Choose and ask attendants I did this one month after the engagement, Fiance did it on our “negative one”/one year out anniversary

DONE — Reserve a photographer <span style=”text-decoration: line-through;”>and videographer

DONE — Select a caterer and begin working on a menu included with venue

DONE — Book your <span style=”text-decoration: line-through;”>reception band or DJ

1/3 — Investigate floral, invitation and honeymoon options

Some other completions we’ve had… save the dates done and ordered (to send out in November), favor and centerpieces ideas started to finalize, hair and makeup vision finalized…

11 months out…Craziness!!!

I have completed the following:

  1. I have my gown and shoes.
  2. Created my guest list
  3. Notified out-of-town guests
  4. MOST IMPORTANTLY the photography-I reserved the totally awesome, Ashley Colhouer
  5. Meeting with possible caterer this Monday
  6. Meeting with possible florist this Monday and  plans to do some DIY designing
  7. I’m hoping to DIY the invitations

I’m still deciding and considering on how many attendants to have and am absolutely lost on music.

@charlieken

I hear you on music.  My gal’s family thankfully has a great family friend, Ray, who’s offered his services for DJing our wedding.  As a bonus, he also does dance lessons for free at a church in the area on Friday nights, so we’ll be starting to attend that as well soon!
