September 28th here. I really thought that the planning would ramp up in July/August and into September, but I have been so surprised by how much it has already gotten crazy since April! We’re 6 months out and all of a sudden it’s florists and invitations and my dress came in and ordering favors and coordinating with the venue planner and just a lot more a lot sooner than I would have expected for a September wedding! I didn’t expect to feel this stress until much closer to the wedding! And this summer we have our premarital retreat, two showers, a couple of other weddings, the bachelorette party–so I know it’s only going to get busier from here!

pagirl928 : Hello Bee. Sept 7th is our day. I am on a low right now lol. June will ramp up for me though so I will embrace this slow month. Congrats on your wedding and goodluck to you.

Wondering when the rest of you Sept 2019 brides are mailing invites… we have a lot of out of town guests. Our date is 9/14 and the rsvp is due 8/17 so I was thinking by 6/8? Is that too early? I dont want people to forget to rsvp but I also want to give them time to plan.

AW1 : I maile/d the majority of my invites for a 9/1 wedding on 6/9. The knot told me to mail by 6/7, lol. I have an 8/1 RSVP deadline. I have quite a lot of guests out of state/out of the country, so I wanted to make sure they had enough time to make their decision.
My busy-ness is ramping up now too, having just sent invites a few weeks ago, I have my first dress fitting next week, my hair and makeup trial in 2 weeks, I still have to go buy wedding bands for both of us, make up my DIY wood flower bouquets… still quite a bit to do. I’ve started making my table assignments as I have had RSVPs come back, and will start working on the escort cards for the attending guests soon too. 9/1 will be here before I know it!

I just got a engaged last week but we’re all set for September 29th! We’re having a small daytime wedding so we didn’t need much time to plan. The church was booked the 28th so we’re going with afternoon on the 29th. My nieces won’t have school Monday for Jewish holidays so it works out (they’re coming down to SC from NYC)
We’ve gotten a lot of planning done in a week!! Booked church, reception, hotel room block for guests and wedding night, honeymoon, bought my dress, put deposit down for cake and am almost ready to pull the trigger on a photographer!
