Well I caved and tested today – got a BFN on a premom strip. I’m either 9 or 12 DPO, depending which app I look at. I’ll wait and see if AF arrives this week, if she hasn’t arrived by next weekend I’ll test again! I’m slightly disappointed as I have had some crampiness and a couple waves of nausea, but it’s only our first cycle really trying. I’ll confirm, but looks like we’re rolling over to October!

AF is due in two days for me, and I got a BFN this morning with an FRER, so I’m feeling a roll over to October in my future.

SeaOfLove :  Used to! Like clockwork! I’m right there with you sister! My son kicked up his nursing frequency with these final teeth so I’m all over the place. Probably no progesterone with all this prolactin floating around.

SeaOfLove :  I have a distinct feeling this is going to be another lost cycle for me. Nothing is making sense or “normal,” so I don’t know. I’m not allowing myself to panic about anything more serious until I wean him. No women in my family have ever gotten pregnant while nursing (not for lack of trying) so I’m thinking prolactin levels are just running high. I have no reason to think it’s anything more serious at this point – or at least that’s what I keep trying to tell myself. We will probably try this cycle anyway ( earlier and for longer to hopefully hit O, which could be anytime in the next 2.5 weeks and be on a day I’ve had it previously 🤦🏻‍♀️), just because I’d kick myself if we didn’t. But my hope level is at a -2 currently.

MsPlucky :  Don’t worry, yet darling. Nursing can really mess with your cycle. Just take it easy and take it as it comes. I hope you get a surprise one of these cycles ❤️

I’m considering testing early…. my CP is really getting in my head.  Maybe if I get a BFP earlier, there’s a better chance of it being a sticky baby? I know I’m going to be worried about having a super dark line early, like 14dpo, as well.  I just don’t know.  This whole thing makes me so nervous.  This could easily take another 9+ months like last time…

I also have a baby shower during a regular meeting at work tomorrow.  I still don’t know if I want to go.  On one hand, I want to tell myself that it was just a stupid CP and I should get over it because they’re so common… on the other hand, it could go on to completely ruin my week/make me so much more anxious during this TWW.

SeaOfLove :  Easier said than done but I would ignore what you should be doing like not testing early or going to the shower at work, and just do whatever is best for you or whatever helps you feel better. You can always test early one day and if it doesn’t help, stop testing until you want to again? Can you work from home tomorrow and have a self care day? There is nothing wrong or selfish about putting yourself first, your physical and mental well-being is without a doubt the priority here.

lou18 :  I cannot miss work tomorrow.  I have too many obligations on top of that meeting.  A couple people at work do know I miscarried – I definitely came into work in not-so-good shape after miscarrying during the long weekend, so I may have cracked through my anger.  We’ll see how I feel.  It’s just so hard to navigate.

SeaOfLove :  Yes, funn you mention as the past few months I have definitely noticed this “meh” feeling post-O. Definitely different than PMS but very uncomfortable (VERY sore boobs for example).

9dpo and a BFN. Trying not to symptom spot but I’ve had a runny nose the past few days, I’m lacking my normal cystic pimples right before my period and my aaerials are much larger and darker. My husband this morning even noticed. FX

I know I rolled over to October, but this group seems a bit more active so I just have a question for those of you using OPKs. How long before you get a positive result do you have “low” readings on your tests? Before you get a peak reading are there a couple of days where you get high readings? I’m on CD14, and mine are still reading low. Just curious if it’ll suddenly go from being low to hitting the peak, or if I’ll get some higher readings between to clue me in that I’m close.

SeaOfLove :  Awee I’m sorry you’re going through this after your CP. I would do what is best for you emotionally as far as the baby shower and testing goes ♥️ sending all the good vibes I have for you during your TWW!
