Happy to see some BFPs rolling in!

I think I’m out this month too,  AF is late, but I would be 15DPO today and got a BFN yesterday. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone still in the TWW!

@sarfin914:  Happy Birthday!! I’m sorry you didn’t get the BFP present you were hoping for, but stay positive – it’ll happen! It took me 18 months with my first but when she got here, it was all worth it.

@sarfin914:  Happy birthday!  I’m so sorry that you didn’t get your BFP this morning. Do you have a more sensitive test than a digi? It took me forever to get a positive on one with DD.

I’m so glad that you are taking the steps with your OB and seeking out a fertility specialist. I have my appointment with the specialist today and I feel better knowing that I am taking steps towards that BFP. I’m with you in solidarity, bee.

@sarfin914:  Hugs and happy birthday! It took 14 months for me to conceive our first, I have hypothyroidism, and didn’t know when I was TTC last time, so once I went on meds I got pregnant within a few months. I’m definitely team get stuff investigated in case. Hugs! Let us know how it goes.

@tomatotoes:  Oh my gosh! So nice to see a familiar face! Or I guess username haha. Yes I’m definitely so thankful that we’re both mommies now. What a wild ride! So sorry to hear you had another CP. I’m definitely so, so, so nervous about that. How old is your LO? ANd how are you feeling/did you feel going into TTC for #2? I have so many emotions. I’m excited but I’m very nervous about a repeat experience. My son is 13 months now and I’m nervous for the potential of 2 under 2 but we decided we’d rather that than wait too long and then risk it taking a long time again and have a huge age gap. Of course, none of it is within our control but we do what we can.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you ♥

@hopfenn:  our daughter will be 14 months next week (born 7/23) so you were just a few weeks behind me! How amazing!! Let’s hope the same thing happens this time and we’re just in here a month or two!

Honestly I went into ttc #2 already a bit burnt out from the last time. I’m only 5 months in and SO over it. During my last pregnancy we discovered that I had a 15cm fibroid which they wondered if it was contributing to my recurrent losses so I had that removed in December – so I was SUPER bummed when I had another loss last month because that means the surgery didn’t “solve” my problem, which was discouraging. I did however recently do a menstrual cycle mapping test and the results found I have luteal phases defect/low progesterone so I’m happy to have more information about what my problem might be. That’s a step.
Like you I’m a little nervous about 2 under 2 so each month I’m not pregnant I don’t mind since it’s more time for our daughter to grow up a bit, but of course I hate the idea of not knowing when and if this is going to happen (I’m almost 39) so I jumped into meds figuring there’s not time for me to waste. I’ve heard it takes 2-3 cycles for people to get pregnant on letrozole so I’m not getting my hopes up for this first cycle. Pretty sure nothings happening now but they said my day 21 progesterone was 29 so that’s good! I’ll get a blood test Thursday to find out and then probably on to the next cycle.

how do you like being a mommy? How does it compare to your expectations? I’m having the time of my life. I’ve waited so long for this and the only thing that will make it more fun is having more babies ๐Ÿ™‚

Got some good news yesterday ๐Ÿ™‚ felt off all day on Monday but knew it was so soon (7dpo) so by chance did an HCG stick yesterday in the morning (8dpo) and was shocked! This was in the evening after ~3 hour hold. My husbands birthday is next week so I gave him these all wrapped up as an early present. Knowing it’s still so early I’m cautious but so excited, it doesn’t feel real!

@ksocdoc:  Thank you! I told him his birthday present came early and I couldn’t wait ๐Ÿ˜‰ He thought it was cupcakes haha!

Also – awesome to hear running is such a good stress reliever for you in this time, so much going on for you! I’m American but living in Amsterdam so was planning on running the Amsterdam half, but now I’m not so sure. One month out and definitely not hitting the mileage I should be, I might just transition back to running purely for me & not training. Good luck with your race in 2 weeks! Here’s hoping for good weather ๐Ÿ™‚
