Woooo! other september 29th brides

The ceremony will be in the front yard of my fiance and my new house and the reception will be in the back yard (2 acres). my mama and i are making the food (for 100 people) but no worries my mama and i worked together for quite a few years at a catering company and restaurant so we’ve definately done this before. My cousin is making the cake (she’s done wedding cakes before so no worries on that either) Our colors are aqua and red with gray scale accents. Our theme is vintage/ country disney. all of the decor will be very vintage looking with some subtle touches of disney like teacups on the tables as candles holders, the table names will be disney couples (excluding princesses bc they’re a bit cliche), and my hair is VERY long and blonde so everyone always associates it with rapunzel and just coincendently my hair style will be centered around a cascading french braid.

we went with disney bc that’s where Jamie, my fiance proposed, on main street right in front of the castle. (it was my first time ever being in disney) and you can probably guess where we’re taking our honeymoon… that’s right disney.

our wedding will be pretty casual and there will be ALOT OF DIY

@sunshine_kar:  My theme is also rustic country. I have some mason jars and I am doing the different centerpeice vases at each table. I also found some small old oil lamps I thought would be really neat at some tables!!! If you have any ideas you want to share let me know! I love the country ideas!! 🙂

I’m a Sept 29th bride as well!

We are having a beach wedding. Our invitations were messages in a bottle. Our colors are Tiffany blue and red. The bridesmaids are wearing teal sarongs ($7) and carrying paper parasols. We have GROOMSMAIDS, lol. My fiance has 2 best friends who are female. They are wearing red sarongs, and walking HIM down the aisle! They will carry teal parasols as well.

It’s a desitnation wedding, so I am putting together gift baskets to place in the guests’ hotel rooms.

Getting so close!!

I am also a September 29th Bride. Cant believe its 17 days away. Our colors are Chocolate Brown and lots of blues with white mixed in. We are having the wedding at my church in my hometown with the reception just downstairs. Having a chocolate fountain and the rest of the food we wil be buying from Costco to keep costs down. We got engaged in May,, so had about 4 1/2 months to plan. I cant wait to marry the love of my life. We are honeymooning in Vancouver and Victoria, BC because we live in the Seattle Area and its an easy drive for those of us on a limited budget.
