Wedding Party(#s): 1 best man (FH’s brother), 1 Maid/Matron of Honor (my best friend), 2 bridesmaids (my sisters), and 2 best dogs (our border collies)

Ceremony (where, time): 4.30pm at Ecostudio Fellini, Mudgeeraba

Reception (where, time):  5.00pm cocktail hour, 6.00pm reception at Ecostudio Fellini, Mudgeeraba

Dress Style: Ballgown with lace bodice and heavy satin skirt and pearl belt

Hair/Makeup (Pro/DIY): Pro – hair will have a braid and chignon & makeup will be a smoky eye, and soft pink cheeks & lips

Honeymoon Location: Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa, Maldives

Flowers: billy buttons, easter daisies, sweet peas, white freesia, a few white chrysanthemum and a few lisianthus with a small amount of babys breath.

Dress Style: White, A-line, strapless with flower embroidery on the bodice and front panel of the skirt.

Honeymoon Location: A few days at Long Island the week after the wedding, then our proper honeymoon will be a 14 day cruise around New Zealand in January.

Theme: None.  Kind of a distillery, darker vibe though

Honeymoon Location: We were going to take a mini-moon to Colorado and take a longer trip late this year or early next year.  But I am getting a new job (transfer really) starting 9/9 so I’m afraid I might have to cancel the mini-moon as well and just wait 3-6 months.

Flowers: dark purple, greens, reds.  I don’t remember but here are some: lisianthus, dark purple calla lillies, dahlias, green button mums

First Dance Song: Not sure

Centerpieces: Low floral centerpieces in square vases.  I have green glass votive candleholders for the tables

Food/Menu: No idea.  Buffet with some type of chicken, carving station of prime rib, potatoes, spinach salad with blue cheese, cranberries, etc.  Some apps.

Cake Flavor: White with raspberry filling and coconut cake with lemon filling

Favors: Photobooth + wedding cake sugar cookies (made by me)

@Dareebs:  Thanks πŸ˜€ No, not outside, although the ceremony is going to be outside if the weather is good (I really hope so! On both our engagement shoots it was bad weather so we’re not having much luck lol). 

It’s just that our venue is in a state park (bushland) with thousands of massive trees, so I’m running with that theme πŸ™‚ We’re having birds nests with blue sugared almonds as the birds eggs for our bonbonierre.

@Dareebs:  Thanks! Yes, fingers crossed for fantastic weather everywhere. Usually here in September things are just starting to warm up again after winter, however this year has been one of the warmest winters in around 20 years! πŸ™‚

We were going to use the original version of A Thousand Years for our dance, but quickly figured out the song was WAY too long. So I did a search for shorter versions on youtube and found the Glee one.

Laser skirmish is like paintball, only you wear a vest with sensors and shoot laser guns, so no horrible bruises, just lots of fun. πŸ˜›
