@soon2beMRSgq:  I had my wedding September 24th of last year.

The bridesmaids were in Navy blue, the flowers were oranges, reds, and yellows with green accents.

The groomsmen wore orange ties and the linens were orange (with some green linens thrown in for cocktail hour).

Here are some photos:

We’re doing purple with sapphire blue and grey accents.  We didn’t go with fall colors because Sept 1 is still kind of summer and it’s actually labor day weekend.

Like Beckster329, I’m a Labor Day bride so I am using summer-y colors.

Royal Blue / Sapphire

Hot Pink / Fuschia

The Bridesmaids are wearing blue dresses (Horizon at David’s Bridal).  Their shoes are pink and their bouquets are pink.

The guys are wearing blue somewhere in their attire (vests, ties).

My colors are dark teal and burnt orange/peach.  I wouldn’t worry too much about your wedding being in September and what the colors *should* be and just go with something you love.

We chose our colors somewhat around the venue.  They were chocolate brown, gold, ivory and plum.  They were beautiful together.  We used chocolate, brown and ivory for most of our decorations, with bits of plum in there and my girls wore plum dresses with the boys wearing plum ties/pocket squares.

Ivory and navy – with some burgundy and silver

Most of September is still technically summer, but can also be Fallish, so short of a tropical or snow theme, you can really get away with anything!

I got married over Labor Day and did all white (linens, flowers, etc.) with a couple of pops of navy (napkins, ribbon on ceremony arch, table numbers).

My bridesmaids are wearing coral with white polka dots. My shoes are lavender! Other than that, I’m not doing much of a color scheme.
