I was very very calm and collected until about mid-week last week when people decided to be jerks, so I’m now trying to recollect myself and stop freaking out. Here’s my list of things left to do this month:

  • Finish assembling programs (about 1/4 of the way there)
  • figure out favour, flip flop, and pashmina tags
  • get Fiance to order the stupid pashminas
  • polish all the silver teapots, etc for florist
  • make caramel with best friend/BM (our favour)
  • table numbers?! Gotta deal with that.
  • hair and make up trial are this week
  • tasting is about two weeks away
  • print menus, escort cards, place cards
  • shower #2 is next weekend, so I’ll have to do thank yous after that
  • bachelorette party
  • order soda and have it delivered to house
  • repair any issues with RV and drive it to Montreal to buy beer
  • get permits and liquor license for tent (AGH!!!!!!)
  • cut cupcake wrappers with Cricut or skip it, I have to make a decision…
  • make signs for guest book, flip flops, pashminas
  • DIY mercury glass
  • finalize music for DJ
  • keep working on timeline for everyone and MC
  • try not to have an absolute meltdown.

Keep breathing. Keep breathing. And here I thought I was so far ahead of the game…

Oh man. I was dealing with all my slacker RSVPers last week which created some serious drama (and a cousin bashing me on facebook. oy.) so I was feeling less than productive last week. This week though, I’m back on track. I still have to:

-Finish sewing table runners and fabric drapes for our food and bar tables

-Design and print programs and menus

-Bake cookies for our favours

-Make thank you tags for the cookies

-Find my Fiance cufflinks

-Decide on non alcoholic drinks (and buy)

-Decide on Wines and Beers (and buy – along with a liquour licence)

-Figure out my hanging lantern chandelier

-Have final alteration appointment for my dress

August might be interesting!

*Figure out music for ceremony

*Make programs

Finish list of make-take photographs

*Help Future Mother-In-Law decide on reherseal dinner invitations

*Write our letter to each other that our minister is using in the ceremony

That’s what I have at the moment, but I swear it’s an ever expanding list!

@vicarswifeintraining: We’re not legally required to have counselling before we get married but our minister requires it of us. It’s actually just a 3 hour session with two other couples and the minister.

I took the weekend off from the wedding and I am glad that I did.  It was nice to put it aside and just be calm.

But now it’s back to it:

  • assemble menu cards
  • print and assemble programs
  • track down non-RSVPers
  • select photos for collage
  • make signage for guestbook, photobooth, and memoral arrangement
  • finish favors, make labels, and assemble (homemade beer)
  • order groomscake and midnight snacks
  • seating chart
  • escort cards

Here’s mine!

  • Get marriage license
  • Mail out itineraries to wedding party
  • Send rehearsal dinner invites (toward end of the month)
  • Clean the house for one shower (yep – at our house)
  • Send thank you notes
  • Work shower
  • Guest book table – finished the photos and photo cards this weekend! (we’re displaying old family wedding photos on the table)
  • Confirm cake flavors and size with the baker
  • Send final payment to the photographer
  • Send other vendors a ton of money Wink
  • Final dress fitting

I think that’s it? My official list is at home!
