We actually have our tasting tomorrow!!!!  So excited for that!  And our caterer also does our cake so I was actually just looking for inspiration pictures for cake designs.

But basically all I have left is DIY projects, everything is booked/ordered apart from that, and I’m on schedule with my DIY projects.  It’s pretty effing awesome to be quite honest, haha, I’m ready for it to be September already!

I’m kind of scared to make a list of what I have to do! But here it goes, off the top of my head since I’m at work.

Order Cake

Buy and make bouquets & bouts – doing fake

Invites – haven’t even started

MOB & MOG outfits

Suites for the men

Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts

Playlist for the reception

Finalize menu with caterer

Meeting with minister – booked for July, just have to do it

Dance lessons

Dress alterations

So pretty much lots of little things! I’m starting on the invites this weekend and that is the last big thing that really has to get done soon.

I’m not even going to try and list it out! The only things I have done are booked my vendors (minus flowers – that’s still up in the air – really up to my mother), ordered my dress, and decided on the dresses for my BMs.

Yea.. I’ve got a heck of a lot to do still when I’m seeing everyone elses lists!

It seems so close and I have so much to do!

  • Buy and assemble hot sauce bottle favors
  • Pick out bouquest for BMs and myself and find a florist
  • Find a DJ
  • Assemble photobooth and decide how to do it.
  • Finish invites, assemble them, finish calligraphy-ing them and mail them.

The list is getting shorter, though! Last week we met with our venue and picked out centerpieces. They have amazing real-touch calla lilly centerpieces that will go great with our theme!

We have all our vendors booked and are now doing all the little odd and end details.

I need to:

Decide on a guest book
Order invitations
Send my bridesmaids a color swatch for them to pick out their own dresses
Do the cake tasting (on Saturday!)
Pick out vintage decor (doing that on Sunday!)
Order alcohol
Sign hotel block contract
Get Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts
Dress alterations
Accessories for myself and bridesmaids
Select dresses for the two jr. bridesmaids
Narrow down music selections
Finalize ceremony script
Order Ketubbah/marriage license
Start working on a few craft projects I have lined out (Mr. and Mrs. chair signs, our cake topper, etc.)

And probably other things I can’t remember. But its all little things, all the huge decisions are done so I don’t feel stressed in the slightest.

Aaargh,I cant believe its nearly april either!what happend to feb/march???

We have to:

  • Sort out suits for the men
  • Get my FIwedding band sorted
  • get all our music on one disc
  • Florist(eeek!)
  • Bms dresses (they just need to be ordered)
  • Invites sent out

So far, so good with the diy schedule at our house.  Dear Daughter doesn’t have a huge list of bride-things to do since she works three jobs but hers are things I cannot do.  This month I’m even two projects ahead of schedule…yay!  Right now working on the tissues-for-tears-of-joy packets and also the table numbers.  April is going to be all floral…silk bm bouquets, the pom ball, bouts and corsages.

When the weather gets better here (Pacific Northwest) then it will be time to do the outside diy stuff–sign painting, etc.
