- Wedding: September 2017 - Poppy Ridge Golf Course
SeptBride2Be23 : Curious…what are your must have shots? Should there be a couple, a lot? I have all of 7 on my list. 😅 We both make the weirdest faces and hand gestures when posing so its best to catch us with candid shots, rather let the photographer use his best judgment for most of the night.

heavenlyflower : Engaged in Costa Rica… Swoon!
I have a Pinterest board going… basically it is pictures of me with my parents, sister, FIL, Memaw. A few candid feeling shots of me and my FI. I have a few spots at the venue that I want pictures that I have seen (Tree Swing, covered bridge, etc.)
My Photographer will surely have his own ideas also… (I Hope) lol

SeptBride2Be23 : During a river cruise through Palo Verde! 😍 Pretty awesome day. All we have listed are parents, kids, father walking me down the aisle, ceremony kiss, wedding party group and a later shot of our semi private dance at sunset on the patio. I really can’t think of anything else…and some of these I’m pretty sure the photographer would have taken on his own.

- Wedding: September 2017 - The Meadows
I’m about 46 days away! Just need to work on final payments, get some paper pieces printed(ceremony program, escort card), and go over last details with vendors. Oh, and pack for the honeymoon! I have put together my finished decor closet so I have everything packed away that’s ready to come out the day before. I feel way far ahead I think, but that’s fine by me. I’m hoping to not be a crazy person when we hit the month deadline!

we havw 26 days September 3, so ready to be married
Post # 21
25 days (September 2nd) will be here in 1 minute and i have so much left to do it’s kind of insane.
finish writing ceremony (we’re writing and marrying by a cousin)
meet with dj – finalize music and cues
figure out hair style
figure out nail color and book appointment
figure out what i’m wearing in my hair since i’m not wearing a veil. (short-haired bride and i’m doing my own day-of.)
figure out day-of jewelry and purchase accordingly – earrings? bracelet? idk.
get rehearsal dinner dress fit (i purchased it because it’s the most comfortable dress however it’s 4 sizes too big but i had to have it)
order a cake
figure out what we want said cake to look like and how it will be displayed
get groom’s gift
order rest of flowers (we’re about 2/3 done)
figure out IF i’m carrying flowers and if i am, what will they look like. (we’re diying all of our flowers so i just have to pick something from what we’re getting and turn it into a bouquet)
do our table layout (seating is done)
2 more dress fittings
so that’s all i have written on the very large white board in the middle of our living room…

I’m 39 days away and stressing a bit but overall everything is running pretty smooth.
We still have to:
Finish our DIY projects (we have a few)
Give out final details to vendors (we already talked to our offisnt and florist)
Get sweets for our dessert table
Make seating chart
Book rehearsal dinner
Choose our first dance song and our processional music
I’m sure there’s more, just can’t think of it at the moment. I have a thorough list on my computer.

I’m just about done! We met with our ceremony location today to go over details on the bridal party, how we want things to go, etc. I only have a few little things left.
– Need to get signs printed (sign our guestbook, gifts/cards)
– Get an easel for my seating chart
– Get marriage license (We’re going next week)
– Finish table #’s (Only 1 left to do!)
– Make our final payment to our reception hall, but they will contact us to do so.
Can’t wait for it to be over! I’m so ready to be married and stop thinking about planning 🙂

17 days! Just need to make payments. I scrapped the seating chart for escort cards, instead. They should arrive next week.
I am absolutely busting with excitement.

Best of luck ladies! We are at 39 days, and I am getting a lot done! It’s crazy how fast it goes by!
We got Marriage License last weekend, Finalized Ceremony script and emaied to my sister (Our officiant) today. In the process of finishing our DIY (custom cornhole boards), still waiting on passport (super nervous about this!), and called today to track down (ordered 3 weeks ago) bridesmaid shirts (for getting ready) and they had not even started them! EEK!
I can’t wait for the day to get here already!!!

- Wedding: San Francisco City Hall
21 days away! Made a checklist the other day and shared it with FI so we can make sure we accomplish everything we need to leading up to our day. We will be traveling from the East Coast to the West Coast for an elopement. I have a hair appointment this coming weekend, a nail appointment just days before we leave. Making arrangements for our animals for while we are away, determining how we want to transport our suit and gown and filling out paperwork. Its all in the little details right now.

5 days! AHHH. It hasn’t hit me yet that it’s so close. Currently packing everything into the correct boxes and double checking lists!

my anxiety is through the roof and I keep having migraines, two very important family members are in hospital. My car is breaking down, and I feel like postponing as I’ve got a week left! But apart from that yay weddings.

scottishsimmer : I’m sorry you are having some anxiety, but you can’t control everything… (Unfortunately) I understand, I am now 26 days out, my family and friends are from all over the state of Texas, and some are facing the flooding of their homes right now. Concern for them has kind of taken my attention away from what we need for the wedding. Truely a sobering situation knowing that our little coastal home was spared, and we could very easily be in that situation right now, had the hurricane taken a different route.
At one week away I don’t think for me rescheduling would be an option since logistically it would be difficult for our out of state and traveling guests. I hope that everything works out for you and that your family will be okay.
