Since we live overseas and have been able do some amazing trips so far: Ethiopia, Uganda, Zanzibar (in 10 days!!), and Doha (in July)… we’re very excited to be back in the U.S. for the wedding, so our honeymoon is going to be in the Outerbanks, NC.  A nice quiet beach week to soak up America before we have to go back to living apart for another year (me in Uganda, he in Yemen), sounds perfect!

We are getting married in Hawaii (we live in Australia)… we are getting married in Waikiki on the Friday, the boarding a cruise (Carnival Spirit) that goes to Tahiti and Fiji and then ends up back here in Sydney!  It’s going to be 17 days of pure bliss in a suite with my amazing hubs ๐Ÿ™‚

I love warm destunations and beaches, but 1) everyone does them and 2) I’m usually so over being hot and sweaty by the end of september. So we’re going to Paris (and maybe somewhere in Italy) for 2 weeks. Right after the 9/23 wedding. ๐Ÿ™‚

Ok so Fiance just told me to look up some trips just for fun and I think we’ve finally agreed  on a place!

We’re gonna go to Turks and Caicos!! It’s still in the Caribbean but it doesn’t get affected by hurricane season which should be during the time we’re going.

We’re so excited!!

We were looking at Aruba to also avoid the hurrican season,

but we have friends who have offered us their beach house outside of Granada, Spain: and it’s perfect weather & no crowds there in early October – our plan is to go for 2 weeks.

We’ll be waiting until February and going to Aspen for probably 10 days. I think we might do a quick 3-4 night trip somewhere close right after the wedding though.

We’re doing a mini moon in Portland, OR for a week after the wedding because that’s where we used to live and it has great memories for both of us. Then we are going to Italy and on a Greek Island cruise but not until May so that we have some time to save up money. I just couldn’t handle the idea of spending a significant amount on the wedding and honeymoon all at the same time. lol.

Not tropical at all, but right up my alley: we’re considering the Adirondacks! There’s a company that rents VERY secluded cabins with full kitchens and most importantly, HOT TUBS.

We are thinking possibly Florida, or an all inclusive in Jamaica

My future folks in law have offered us their home for a week in Central FL. I’ve never been to FL so that’s somewhat appealing, except – and back me up here girls – how can we possibly enjoy post-marital bliss in his parents’ home?!
