I love my dress. Will love it even more when all my wacky alterations are done (thanks to all your suggestions in a previous dress regret thread!)
I’m cutting it to tea length (it’s currently a chapel, I think), removing most of the crinoline, and having a red band of lace sewn into the remaining crinoline. It’s an Aline with a plain skirt – all the detail that exists is seen here in the bodice and waist.

- Wedding: September 2014 - county fairgrounds
The colored part is bright red, i would show my actual dress but i share the computer with my fiance so i don’t want him to see it. i ordered it back in aug. and got it in december and it’s perfect. i also switched out the button back for a corset back.

I miss my dress and I won’t pick it up until Sept. 8th …it’s at the salon waiting to be cleaned and steamed.

I won’t post a picture because I’m keeping it a surprise 😉 But… to describe…
It is strapless, ivory, silk taffeta, assymetrical waist with ruching across the bodice and at the bust. Gathers at one hip with a small detail. Chapel train… buttons up the back.
And I bought it in November 2010 – AHHH!! I know I’m crazy but I got an insanely good deal.

I love my dress! I found it at David’s Bridal after shopping at 2 other stores. It couldn;t be more perfect for a noon ceremony outdoors.
It is By Galina and is a Soft Chiffon A-Line Gown with Ruffled Skirt (Style 9PK3218)
I will have a beaded sash in sangria to coordinate with my bridesmaids dresses.
