Good on you for the beer, sometimes you just need one. I’m much the same with drinking till its pink πŸ™‚
As for the blood work, personally, I’d do it. At least you know its definite and you’ll know for sure instead of second guessing everything.

Ahhhhh!  I wrote a whole bunch of stuff that apparently got eaten up by the boards monster!

I’ll have to come back later to finish up, but the gist of it was that I was out yesterday because I’ve had a stomach virus the past few days, so I’m not only not pregnant, but also sick.

Also, I had a pity party yesterday because I found out that my SIL, who I don’t care for, is pregnant again, and it’s just not fair!! *stomps foot*  I know that her having a baby really doesn’t have anything to do with me having a baby, but it’s hard to be happy for someone that is truly not a good person. Sorry that seems so selfish, but I had to vent to someone, so thanks for not judging.

Finally, I decided to stop taking my progesterone for the month last night.  I have been spotting for a few days, and it got heavier yesterday, so I just decided to let AF come and get shark week over with already.

Hi ladies! Congrats to the new BFPs! I’ve been on vaca withjust my cell phone, so I’ve been checling in every now and then.

Who uses wondfos? I have been taking one every am because I am a freak…I am not charting, but I am estimating 11 DPO. There is (or I am imagining) an INCREDIBLY faint line. Am I crazy?

How do I post a pic from my phone? Help!

@ChuckNorris:  haha YES that is fine. I actually don’t know which day I O’d (not charting) so it probably would be better to wait the extra few days. It’s been super helpful that I have been too lazy to run out to the dollar store to get more tests…I have ONE digital test though, but I am saving that to (hopefully) confirm any questionable faint lines!!! PS – glad your appt went well!

CONGRATS to everyone who has gotten a BFP! I’m so excited for you  all πŸ™‚

I keep trying to figure out a cute way to tell DH when I get a BFP…I guess some sort of cute onesie, but I am woefully unprepared.

@daybyday:  I love your idea with the card – I can be decidedly type A…my DH is soooo sweet and patient with me always, so I am always saying things to him like “thank you for putting up with me – and I’m sorry in advance for being a crazy preggo” so this would be really fitting for us too πŸ™‚

ALSO – I just remembered a dream I had last night, that I POAS and 2 lines showed up πŸ™‚ and then I had to go to the hardware store for a meeting with my boss (note: I do not work in a hardware store) and the whole time I was really giddy and excited and wanted to share the news but knew I had to wait. Bizarro!

After a week of ferning on my microscope thingie and not ovulating  i finally got my positive OPK :). I always find it funny how after days of squinting at opk’s trying to decide whether they’re positive or not, once i finally get an actual positive it’s clear as day. Despite the test line showing up before the control line and being darker I did a clear blue test just incase.

Posting a pic of my last few tests for those of you that are still unsure about what a positive test should look like.

Sorry the pics are so big.

Current Cycle Day: 22. Last month I ovulated on day 16, the month before day 28. I just got a positive OPK so hopefully i’ll ovulate in the next 24 hours. I was so happy last month when i ovulated on day 16 because I thought it meant my cycles were regulating, but here I am on day 22. I just hope it happens sooner rather then later because I have geared up to O before, got positve OPK’s and then only ovulated much later in my cycle.

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: My cycles are irregular, so I dont have a clue. My LP has been constant for the last two cycles, it’s 12 days long so once I ovulate i’ll have a better idea of what my POAS date is.

Cycles trying: It’s my second cycle really trying, the first cycle i was charting to prevent and kind of NTNT, thought AF was coming so pulled the goalie, but ovulated instead.

BD timing: This cycle, every day for the last 13 days except for days 5, 9 and 12 cos my hubbie needs a break every few days. He’ll get another break this evening then i plan on jumping him in the morning before work.

Funniest TTC moment: My husband pretending we were in a porno and spewing a bunch of funny filth in my ear and making the most over the top sex sounds while we were busy – i hope our neighbours couldnt hear us. I literally couldnt stop laughing and had to eventually tell him to be serious or neither of us would ever “finish”.

I’ll post another one of these once I am a few days DPO.

I still need to catch up on everyones posts and respond – work is more insane then insane, so i dont have lots of time for WB.

@LAZB:  So sorry about your SIL, no judgment here. I know exactly how you feel.

@MrsKitchenQueen:  I just bought my first wondfos so I don’t have much experience but I really hope that they’re accurate and you got your BFP! The only way I know how to upload a picture from your phone is to upload the picture to a photo album website like photobucket.com and then you can copy and paste the URL here to post the picture. Good luck to you!

@timeofmylife:  I have been having bizarre dreams about getting my BFP too. Let’s hope they come true soon (well the BFP part anyway, lol).

@ilovestripes:  Yay for positive opk’s! Can’t wait to see mine, it seems like its been forever since I’ve seen a positive opk.

I hope everyone is doing ok! Got my wondfos in the mail last night and tested out one of the opk’s. Of course the test line was stark white since I am only CD7 but I am going to test every day between now and AF because I do not want to miss O again!

For the charters, do you know if its common to have a tempurature drop after AF is gone? My temps were in the 97.5-97.3 range for the first few days of my cycle and the last couple mornings they have been really low, like 97.02 and then 96.96 this morning. Is this normal??

Hey girls,

Wow! I can’t believe we already had to start another thread πŸ™‚ It’s been awhile since I’ve checked in. Congrats to all the ladies who got their BFPs…so exciting!

As for me, I feel a little silly. I had THOUGHT that I knew how many days post ovulation I was, but now I don’t even know if I ovulated or not. My last sugar pill from my BC pack was on August 18 and I stopped taking them after that. I’m not even technically TTC, just NTNT I guess, because I’m not keeping track of anything since I’m trying to see how my cycle goes after getting off birth control.

Technically, today I’m supposed to get my period if I was still on BCP, but I have a feeling it’s going to be late. I’ve been feeling some AF-like cramps last night and today, so I have a feeling she’s on her way!

I would like to believe that I’m not out for September, but I have a feeling I’ll be joining the October POAS club. I will still be cheering you ladies on, though πŸ™‚

Question: I would like to move more to TTC next month (if AF ever comes), but since I work night shift I don’t think I’ll be able to temp since my sleep cycle is all over the place. Should I just try out OPKs first?

Oh and I guess I should fill out the survey again πŸ™‚

Current Cycle Day: CD 29. No AF yet.

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: I have been POASing almost every other day. Haha… I’m ashamed Embarassed And I have no idea when my usual cycle length will be off BCP. I’m so used to it being so regular on the pill.

Cycles trying: This is my first cycle off of BCP.. not really “trying”, though.

BD timing: Usually every other day, though it’s hard at times because I work night shift and DH works 12 hour shifts during the day.

Funniest TTC moment: Nothing yet!

Sorry for the large picture. I don’t know how to size it down on my cell.  BFP or bad batch? I am so confused.  I am CD22 today how is this possible?  I am not sure when I ovulated I was thinking by EWCM it was on 1st of Sept. but everyone says that is too early.  What do you bee’s think?  Yesterday the bag of tests came in the mail and I figured I have 50 of them why not test for fun. Well I threw it in the trash and dug it out and there was a line on it. I told DH it was an evaporation line. This morning he wanted to know if I should test.  So I did.  They are all there, but light. I don’t know what to think, they are the dreaded Wondofo tests from Amazon, the 3rd one down is DH’s, yes I made him test too. No line.  Confused and not sure what to think.  EDIT: Shark is not due until the 19th.

Congrats to all the BFP’s

So DH bought two tests I tested this morning with FMU and BFN but not discouraged as only 10dpo so maybe the tests you can buy in the Caribbean are not ones that detect early.

Well I’ll try again on Sunday of AF doesn’t show up.

Maybe you ladies can help me as the only test they sell here come in a plastic pouch it has HGC test written on the back a little dropper. There are no instructions in the pack they gave DH other then a picuter showing what neg, postive and invalid test are.

Do any of you ladies know if these will predict early or are they for only after you miss your AF. Thanks

@LuluH:  The picture is a little blurry so I’m having a hard time seeing anything. I think I can see some faint lines, but the pic quality is screwing me up. Any way you could post a clearer pic? Also I am DYING over here. I can’t believe you made your husband POAS! That has to be the best thing I’ve heard all day!!!
