@the_newlymintedmrs-s17:  hahaha (not laughing at your frustration, but laughing that I KNOW EXACTLY how you you feel.) I’m still only on CD 6, so not there yet, but I know it’s coming soon. Hang in there girl!!

Not sure my “reply” button is working… but to the question about the ClearBlue Easy OPK- the one I bought you use around the time you think you are close to ovulating, first thing in the morning.  You get an O if you are not fertile, then one type of smiley face on “high fertile” days and then a solid smiley face on a “peak day”.  Once you get a peak day smiley face you stop testing- until the next month.  (this is my second cycle using it).  Here is the link: http://www.clearblueeasy.com/advanced-digital-ovulation-test.php

I like it b/c it is super easy to use- although as I mentioned in one of my posts I have yet to get a “high fertile” day.  I go straight to a peak day from not fertile. I’m not sure what that means but we BD twice yesterday just to be sure!  🙂

Cycles Trying: first one! Ahhhh!

also newbie excited to join……I’ve been joking I need to start a support group as I drive myself insane over analyzing everything so looking forward to connecting with everyone going through the craziness of TTC!

Roll call

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD26/totally guessing about 13DPO

Ovulation Date: Aug 17??  This is only my second cycle off BC and not sure what a ‘regular’ cycle is yet.

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: BFN this morning so holding out now until Sep4 if AF doesn’t show by then/first cycle of BC was 25 days.

Cycles Trying: 2

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): trying to relax and enjoy it but there is too much waiting in this process so am thinking of charting temps now too.

Hey ladies!  Is there a May 2014 babies board yet? I can’t find one but I don’t know if that’s just because I’m not looking in the right place…

@Treejewel19:  This is cycle 3! Although I’ve been spotting so looks like we might be starting cycle 4 soon.

@sunshinebee:  do you use the Advanced Digital or regular digital? The regular digitals dont have high just peak.  The advanced digital turns high when you have an estrogen increase, so maybe the monitor isn’t picking up yours for some reason. I have the opposite problem – I had 8 days of highs before my peak this cycle.

Because of my long cycle I won’t get to POAS in September, hopefully October.

Forgot the roll call – can I still join in

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD3

Ovulation Date: 18th Sept approx

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: Will hopefully be Oct / average length 33 days. Last cycle was 36 days

Cycles Trying: 1 This month will be our 2nd

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): Folic acid. Try not to put too much emphasis on it so I’m relaxed and hopefully not stressed at work.

@diplomatswife – My reply button isn’t working, but here’s the May babies thread

Roll call

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 17

Ovulation Date: Probably somewhere between Sept. 10-15

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: I had a chemical a couple weeks ago, so I’m planning to wait a while before POAS. I’ll probably just squeak in at September 30.

Cycles Trying: 3

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): I started taking prenatals when I got my BFP a few weeks ago, so I just kept taking those. I’m trying to relax and not worry about having another chemical/miscarriage, but I know it will be another story once I hit the TWW!

I hope it’s ok to join in.  i was actively involved in WB when I got married a few years ago, and just recently rejoined.

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 17

Ovulation Date: Estimated 8/29

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: 28 days, 9/12

Cycles Trying: 7 I can’t believe it’s already been this long 🙁

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): Prenatals, maintaining healthy lifestyle

What are you going to do to ENJOY this month aside from TTC? I will soon find out how enjoyable this actually is, but I recently started a new job as a professor and I start teaching in the classroom this week!  I have taught in the past, but it has always been as a guest lecturer.  If nothing else, my new job is keeping me so busy that I don’t have time to panic about not being pregnant yet (although a May baby would be wonderful!!).

Hey Ladies,

I am so glad you are all here- I feel like only you girlies understand what this is like. Your advice would be appreciated. Here goes:

Hubs and I started trying and my first POAS was in July. Unfortunately, I had an incredibly stressful month at work and was unsurprised when we got our BFN. But this month I changed sites and the job has been a dream, we have been relaxed and I was hoping it would be our month. Everything was fine until Thursday night, I got small amounts of dark brown smear when I wiped (period due this Tuesday). The thing is, my cycles are very regular and this never happens. EXCEPT last month when we first started TTC, I got a small brown stain a few days before my period but it went away and I thought nothing of it. BUT now I got dark brown Thursday, Friday, and a little bit yesterday. Yesterday I POAS because I thought it might be implantation bleeding- but I have a BFN. I tried not to be sad about it, but then…

Last night went to a friend’s house for dinner party and she’s pregnant- so when we were alone she asked me if I was pregnant (she knows we are trying) and I burst into tears. She was so nice but she said I should go to a doctor and get basic blood tests and just start being proactive.

I have no idea what to do. I am still waiting for full blown AF to show. To make matters weirder, last night I woke up with sweats- I needed toilet paper to wipe myself down! That never happens. WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH MY BODY? Agh. Thanks for listening.

Well chicas, I just got AF. Still have no idea why the early dark spotting or the night sweats. Ugh, so frustrating and my hormones all over the shop. FX for September! Sticky baby dust to all!!!
