mrscorgi:  shark week, that’s fantastic! I’m on CD 2 (which is still very much in the ugh I feel awful part for me) and Darling Husband proudly announced  that it was great that I was ovulating Because he knew that was important! And I asked him if he knew what ovulation was (he’s a very smart man, all this terminology is new to him though! ; ) and said “yeah of course, ovulation means bleeding!” I reminded him what ovulation actually was, with a giggle, and that menstruating was the word was looking for.

He said “oh yes! Because the bears can smell the menstruation”

I looked at him funny and he goes “you know? Brick!”

Of course!!!

Link to Chart, if any: http://fertilityfriend.com/home/50c7e8

and for fun – What is your favorite thing about Fall? I LOVE fall!

Mums (flowers) on the porch, something my mom always did. Cozy sweaters and blankets and snuggling by the fireplace. Hot chocolate. Corn mazes and haunted houses. Carving pumpkins. Dressing up my puppies (This is puppy #2’s first Halloween with us!). Handing out candy. Scoring a few PSL’s at starbucks. decorating the house/yard …we go big like at Christmas with lights and everything and then hitting target clearance for next year.

HeyJude72:  Oh my gosh lol! I love the crazy things husbands say when they start to try and be supportive rather than ignoring our cycles. Darling Husband used to think that when we got cramps it was all of our muscles all over our bodies cramping because a lack of blood supply… uh no, we are not just bleeding out… haha

I LOVE pumpkin spice lattes! I have a friend sending me a “knockoff recipe of starbuck’s latte, i reallly hope this is something I can make at home!

mrscorgi:  if it turns out yummy, please share!

Anyone have any any last minute things they want to do before they get that BPF?

Darling Husband and I hit our fave taco place over the weekend and shared a pitcher of really good margaritas. I really want to get sushi soon, too! Silly things I know, but makes the waiting just a little easier!

HeyJude72:  There will always be things, but the problem is, you never know when it will be your last. If I knew I was going to get KU right away, I’d definitely drink a LOT of alcohol and get my fill of sliced turkey. But who knows. I think once I find out I’m pregnant, I might shed a little tear over all the missed drinks. My husband and I pretty much have a beer every night of the week. That will be hard.

I finally ovulated (a week late!) so it’s time to roll call!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD26/3DPO

Ovulation Date: August 23rd

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: Darling Husband wants to be home when I test so I’ll be testing on September 6 at 12dpo

Cycles Trying: #2

BFP Plan (BD Timing, supplements, etc.): Prenatals, DHA, Myo-inositol.  I had a late O this cycle and our timing isn’t as great as I would like but we were working around the inconvenience of staying with my in-laws.  We ended up with O and O+1.

and for fun – what is your favourite thing about Fall?: Not a huge fan of fall, to be honest.  I live in a canadian city with notoriously harsh, cold winters so fall just really signals that winter is coming way too quickly. I’ll be soaking up the warm weather for as long as I possible can. I suppose I like pumpkin spice lattes but that’s about it, lol.

jammer62:  I’m not a huge drinker, but the thought of not being allowed to have a drink should the urge arise, i’m sure will be a problem once I am KU. I live on lunch meats so that will be a hard one to give up too.

HeyJude72:  I went out and bought a pumpkin spice latte this morning just incase I do get KU this cycle I wont have to go all season without one. Thank goodness I don’t like sushi! Darling Husband and I are trying to make a list of things that we want to do (if we get the chance) before we get a BFP, I think that will help lessen the blows of a BFN too. None of those things are worth waiting for but keeping something fun in the mix should help get past the trying times.
