Yay for September!!

Current Cycle Day: 24

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: POAS Sept 3rd, if I’m brave enough. Usual cycle length varies but 30-35

Cycles trying: 11

BD timing: This cycle we did EVERY DAY during fertile time. Previous cycles I did every other, but I also think I was timing O wrong.

Words of wisdom/something uplifting to say: Couldn’t agree more with skipper. Take it one day at a time. Some days will be better than others, and some days we just break down, cry, and curse the TTC gods.

****Best of luck to everyone!!! ****

Hopefully I don’t end up with another insanely long cycle by joining…

Current Cycle Day: 7, boring!

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Also TBD. No clue anymore, last three cycles have been 35, 52, 29 days.

Cycles trying: Cycle 4.

BD timing: Usually every other day, but usually when I get close to O I worry and start to do every day if possible.

Words of wisdom/something uplifting to say: Try to keep busy, less time to dwell on things!

Hopefully September is a lucky month!

Current Cycle Day: CD15, awaiting O (I think)

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: Hope to POAS around September 6, which is when I have a follow-up appointment with my OB/GYN

Cycles trying: In the middle of 2, first cycle on Clomid

BD timing: Every other day or more during my anticipated fertile window

Words of wisdom/something uplifting to say: 1) SERENITY NOW!!! 2) Worrying never changed anything. 3) I am not defined by my fertility.

Oooh my first time joining one of these!

Current Cycle Day: 9

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: mid Sept, but I will wait until I’m late according to O date and LP (16-17 DPO). Average is 31 days, but it varies still since going off the pill in April.

Cycles trying: 1!

BD timing: Whenever we feel like it– it’s our first month trying so I’m being careful not to put pressure on H about it. That said, I will be making more of an effort around O time. Unfortunately, we will be traveling separately around expected O time as well, so there is a strong chance we will miss it this month.

Words of wisdom/something uplifting to say: Never think of BDing during a non fertile time as a waste!

Current Cycle Day: 13

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: I’m usually right at 29 days, but last month I went 33 days.  Maybe work was just stressing me out, but I’m not sure what happened.  This is my first cycle using OPK’s, and I’ve bought TCOYF, just haven’t actually started charting yet….

Cycles trying: Eeks!!  This is cycle 1 for us!!!!

BD timing: I’m using a menstrual calander on my phone to keep track of my most fertile days, so that is when we’re aiming for this month.  Although (sorry…TMI!) we’ve been particularly amorous the past week and so far we’ve not missed a day since my period ended.

Words of wisdom/something uplifting to say:
LOL…well, I don’t know if this is uplifting for anyone other than me, but I keep telling myself that if we don’t get pregnant here in the next three months, at least I get another season of snowboarding in this year!!  I made DH promise we’d take a break from Dec-Feb if the first 3 months of TTC don’t work, just so I could go!  Just trying to keep looking on the bright side of things!!!

Current Cycle Day: 3

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: I’m not too sure yet as my two cycles charting have been completely different.

Cycles trying: This will be the second one really tryingm the first one was a bit of an accident because my cycle was long and i ovulated late.

BD timing: I would like to try for every second day this cycle and then maybe a bit more once I get my positive OPK. Lets hope the hubbie can manage. We’re still trying to have fun with it though and keep it a bit spontaneous.

Words of wisdom/something uplifting to say: September is going to be good to us!

Current Cycle Day: CD 14 (O seems very close!)

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: September 6th-ish I usually have 26-28 day cycles.

Cycles trying: 15

BD timing: we are trying for every day starting CD12 through one day post O- usually we are a every other day and typically we only get about 2-3 BD in my fertile window.

Words of wisdom/something uplifting to say: For those of us who are Christian and are having a longer journey: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future full of hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

@Mrs. Pretzel:  LOL…I just noticed you live in Seattle-ish!!!!  Maybe there was something in the water out here throwing us all off…or maybe it was just the strangely hot temps out here that did it!  Either way, best of luck to you this cycle!  And “yay” for finding another lady that is from the same area!!!! Cool

P.S. Your username is the best…I have a more-than-slight infatuation with soft pretzels, especially if there is nacho cheese involved. πŸ˜‰

Hey girls!  I know I planned to stay away, but that feeling has passed.

Current Cycle Day: 5 (still shark week)

Usual Cycle Length: 28-32 days

Cycles trying: This will be #2.

POAS Date: I probably won’t even have to POAS since I ovulate around CD20-21.  If I’m late, I’ll POAS.  Possibly around September 20th.

Words of wisdom/something uplifting to say: DON’T READ YOUR TEST AFTER 10 MINUTES.  Seriously.  That rule is in the little pamphlet for a reason.  πŸ™‚

Current Cycle Day: 25 (expecting AF in a few days so I can the September cycle moving!)

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: I should POAS somewhere around the 3rd week of September and my cycles have ranged from 25-30 days, with my average at 27. I O between CD14-CD17 and my LP is 11-13 days.

Cycles trying: This is technically the first cycle that we’ve had a shot ever since we decided to TTC in May. We were fertile the week after the wedding but we got tons of bad news that week and it kinda killed the mood. June was a wash becase I O’ed early and we missed our window. DH was out of town for all of July, and didn’t come back from 6 weeks away from home until the day before my O date in August and he was too tired/cranky to BD. It’s been a rough couple of months and I hope nothing gets in our way this time.

BD timing: I plan on temping, tracking CM, and using OPKs the same way that I’ve been doing for a while now. I also plan on trying to keep DH in the dark about my fertile days and just try and get him into bed πŸ˜‰

Words of wisdom/something uplifting to say: I have no reason to believe that anythinbg will stand in our way this month, and that’s good enough for me πŸ™‚

Current Cycle Day: CD 9

Usual Cycle Length: About 28-30 days

POAS Date:  Hoping to hold out till September 9th

BD timing: I just started to temp and chart. We were BDing every couple of days but trying now every other day. He works 2nd shift and im usually sound asleep when he gets home so lunch time has been exciting for the past week hehe πŸ˜‰

Words of wisdom/something uplifting to say: Wooooo September!!! πŸ™‚ Big positives! Tons of them πŸ™‚
