@pretzel and @elopegirl: congrats!

@ChuckNortisFTW: that sounds like a lot of great info!

As for me, it looks like I’m out. I started spotting last night (super light pink), so I expect AF at any moment πŸ™  I really tried not too, but I let myself get excited that this could really be my month, so I’m superdisappointed. This morning DH and I went to a 1 year old birthday party and weresurrounded by a bunch of our friends and their babies, and it made me a little more sad, so I had an extra mimosa haha. Gotta love a baby bday party with alcohol right?!

@ElopeGirl:  Yaaaaay!!!! Congrats to you and your husband!! How exciting!!! πŸ™‚

Well, 13 dpo here. AF is due tomorrow, and I’m 99.99% sure she’ll rear her ugly head. πŸ™ I tested this morning and wasn’t surprised that I got another BFN. Then I had my first bit of spotting right after the test. So I’m going to go ahead and say I’m out for this month.

To be honest, I had a bit of a meltdown yesterday afternoon and started bawling. My husband talked me down, but I still have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I just have this feeling that this is going to take much longer than my DH thinks. I’m 31, he is 28…I feel like my age and medical history are going to be working against us. We set the month to start TTC based on him being on shore duty in the Navy so that he’d still be around to bond with a baby and help me out before his next deployment. I just feel like there is so much pressure to get KU right away so our timeline isn’t blown. I tried to tell him months ago that it’d probably take longer than a month or two to get pregnant, but I think he is under the assumption that I still have the fertility of a 19 year old. πŸ™

I’ve been struggling with anorexia/bulimia for over 16 years… I’m recovered now, and eating healthy and maintaining a healthy weight, but I’ve had long periods of amenorrhea since I was about 17. Now my cycle is consistent at 29-30 days each month (and has been for over 2.5 years when i got my eating back on track) but I’m so afraid i’ve screwed my body up after years of abusing it. My GP says everything looked good to start trying, but I can’t help but worry. I never thought I’d want to be a mom, so it never really bugged me when I was younger what all the repercussions would be…but now I can’t imagine NOT being a mom. Man, hindsight is always 20/20.

@mrs_pugetsound:  I feel for you but don’t worry you’ll be a mom and even if it takes time everythings going to be fine. easy to say but try not to stress it will not help you getting pregnant. and you know the body have an amazing capacity to recover, if your doc says everything’s fine than it must bee πŸ™‚ When will your hubby be deploy again? anyway i send you all the good vibes πŸ™‚

@mrs_pugetsound:  Try not to beat yourself up. It sounds like you are doing everything right now and that is what matters. It takes time, the average couple is pregnant with in a year. Hopefully next month will be your month and not throw you off your timeline too much. Wish I had something better to say. If nothing else venting is good and we are here to listen to it anytime. Hugs.

@parisian_bee:  Torture is all I have to say. You are much stronger then myself, I POAS last month starting at 8DPO I think. πŸ™ waste of money and energy. Going to try to be more lax this time. I just don’t feel very hopeful about this month. πŸ™

@parisian_bee:  Le Portel πŸ™‚ I actually lived in Lyon for a year. I do love France but tbh, I’m not a massive fan of Le Portel! I’ve got everything crossed for you for tomorrow πŸ™‚

@mrs_pugetsound:  Your health issues are behind you. Your regular cycles now are a sign that your body has recovered and you have to trust it. You’re 31….well I’m 30 next month and I refuse to believe that we have anything less than a good few years of trying in us. As for your breakdown yesterday, I think we all have days where we feel like total shit. I guess it’s a good way of developping a backbone and an optimistic outlook. I think i’ll see you in the October POAS thread πŸ™‚

@LuluH:  You know what they say about when you think you’ve done well on a test, you’ve really done badly and when you think you’ve done badly, you’ve done well?….I’d like to apply that theory to you about this month….a bad feeling means you’re probably going to have a good month. I’m superstitious like that!
