I’ll play, too. 🙂 I’m planning long distance, so might have a few things out of place (late or early.)

To do:

– Book honeymoon!

– Work on ceremony w/ officiant

– Start on invite design

– Confirm bridesmaid dress orders are in

– Pick groomsmen, flower girl & ring bearer attire

DIY:

– Purchase IKEA lanterns & gold spraypaint

– Design for table #’s

– Aisle runner

And SO much more…

I have a ginormous list that has every single task I need to do from now until the wedding (complete with due-dates and assignments).

April and May are actually very slow months, I’m meeting with flower vendors at the end of this month and make a decision. Then it’s just talking about the rehersal dinner and looking for bridesmaid’s dresses. Things start to pick up again in the end of May when I start looking into ordering invites. (I’m getting them online.)

Things seem to finally be moving along now!

I’m also planning long distance, so things are probably early/late!

To Do:

Make a playlist

Find flower girl dresses/shoes

Groomsmen outfits

Book plane tickets for bridal shower

Talk to the DJ, a friend

DIY:

Invitations

Table runners

Make flowers (maybe!!)

I’m sure there are many other things, but that is what I’m thinking about right now

Hmm. Of course, there are all the subsets of to-dos on each of these, but the general gist is:

Find and book an officiant(!!)

Send out save the dates

Rings

Collect guest addresses (stds are through email)

Chair rentals

Figure out decor (DIY)

Meet w/ the venue coordinator again

Put together a playlist (DIY)

Decide on beer & wine (DIYish)

Make sure Fiance gets his suit

Dress alterations, accessories, hair makeup – my “look”, I guess

Get some yard games together for cocktail hour

Print, assemble, mail invitations (kit DIY)

Register

Marriage license

That… doesn’t look as bad as I thought it might!
