Food/Menu: 4 course sit down dinner – Italian Wedding Soup, Ceasar Salad, Raspberry Sorbet Intermezzo, and choice of entree (Chicken French, Sirloin Strip of Beef, Baked Tilapia, or Penne Primavera)

Cake Flavor: Vanilla with strawberry filling

Favors: We’re doing a photobooth with a print out for us and a print out to take home.

 First Dance Song: On va s’aimer encore – by Vincent Vallières. it’s the song that was playing when he proposed.

Centerpieces: DIY mason jars decorated with burlap and lace with some flowers inside

Food/Menu: Cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres being passed around and champagne, followed by a 5 course sit-down meal. Salad, appetizer, soup with our names written in it with cream, choice of chicken or roast beef and finally a dessert table.

Cake Flavor: Vanila wedding cake to be cut, and then 3 different flavors of cupcakes for our tower. (Vanilla, chocolate and salted caramel)

Favors: candy bar and italian wedding cookies wrapped in little boxes.

DJ/Band/Ipod: Either DJ or ipod, my fiancé is in charge of that.

Bachelorette (when/what): No clue! My Maid/Matron of Honor will plan it. But she knows I would love something classy but also a little trashy 😉

This is too much fun – everyone’s wedding looks SO beautiful!

Dress Style: Private label from bridal shop in Marlborough, MA 

Hair/Makeup (Pro/DYI): Definitely professional for both! I want soft romantic hair, most likely up, and soft romantic makeup that highlights my eyelashes!

Honeymoon Location: Three nights at the MGM Grand in Vegas to celebrate and pamper, followed by 8 nights at a gourmet all-inclusive outside of Playa del Carmen.

Flowers: Big soft blooms in white, burgundy, pinks and peach. Lots of baby’s breath. 

First Dance Song: Lucky, by Jason Mraz & Colbie Caillat

Centerpieces: Mason jars, tall willow branches, big soft blooms and baby’s breath with lots of candles, all placed on a burlap square in the center of the table

Food/Menu: Cocktail hour – stationary cheeses, Vermont salamis, fruit, nuts, and olives with passed cocnut shrimp, caprese skewers and sliced beef tenderloin on baguette with crispy onion and horseradish. Signature cocktail will be St. Germaine, vodka and ruby red grapefruit juice. Dinner starts off with a spinach salad with beets, goat cheese and walnuts. Then choice of seared maple glazed salmon or seared chicken with corn, cilantro, ginger saute served with crispy roasted potatoes and haricot vert. 

Cake Flavor: Groom’s godmother is making her amazing chocolate cake with fresh raspberry sauce and we’ll also serve apple crisp and rhubarb berry crisp with maple sweet cream. 

Favors: Two large Vermont made chocolate-covered pretzels. 

DJ/Band/Ipod: Ceremony music will be played by a string trio made up of my former orchestra conductor and violin/viola teachers, cocktail hour music will be groom’s uncle’s swing band, and reception music will be played off an iPod. 

Bachelorette (when/what): Ask my Maid/Matron of Honor 🙂

Honeymoon Location: No clue yet! We’re doing our BIG one a year after our wedding and taking a small one to Mackinaw Island in Michigan.

Flowers: I am in LOVEEE with dahlias! I want something like this here:


First Dance Song: “I Won’t Give Up” by Jason Mraz

Centerpieces: Mason jars that have brown spanish moss in them with raffia(sp?) around the rims and a black and red jute x around the center. I will be putting texas berries and possibly dahlias in them.


Food/Menu: Simple buffet! Chicken alfredo, sausage lasagna(for the kids) and green beans with almonds! 

Cake Flavor: Not yet decided! Need to get on that….

Favors: Not sure if we’re doing favors or donating to the ACS.

First Dance Song: Love is Easy by McFly

Centerpieces:  Long rectangle vases filled with billy buttons, easter daisies, sweet peas, white freesia, white chrysanthemum, lisianthus, and baby’s breath. These will be alternated with candelabras and tealights will be scattered around.

Food/Menu: One hour of butler served canapes, followed by entree, main, and cupcakes.

Cake Flavor: White choc and passionfruit cupcakes and choc hazelnut cupcakes

Favors: N/A at this stage

DJ/Band/Ipod: DJ

Bachelorette (when/what): I think it is going to be August 24th? Starting at my mum’s house for cocktails served by topless waitors (my only request lol) then I believe the younger ones will be heading out to the city/valley (clubbing/pubbing area)
