Hey girl I’m sorry the alterations aren’t going the way you want **hugs**

If all else fails you can definitely get a flowy beachy long white maxi dress inexpensively which would be perf for the beach! It wouldn’t have the pretty beading on the bodice but if you’re seriously ready to throw the baby out iwth the bathwater & start over this season is maxi central. Or at least I’m finding maxi dresses everywhere I go! <3

I think you look beautiful and that it will be fine on the beach.  Sounds more like a self esteem issue than a dress issue.  Love yourself, sweetie.  You are beautiful.

@kenty85:  Since you’ve decided to try to find something else, I would suggest browsing Macy’s online.  Their dresses tend to be simpler and more flowy, which is perfect for a beach wedding.  They also shouldn’t break the bank AND you won’t be sweating like crazy because the material is lighter. 🙂  I think you’d look great in a sheath dress.

I would suggest getting a friend to take some better quality pictures where you’ve done your hair and make up, you’re smiling and you’re standing up straight. I think that alone would help you feel better about the dress. avoid the cellphone pictures, they’re never as flattering as they should be.

I’m not a fan of the straps, I don’t think they’re doing anything for you, but otherwise I think you look lovely. You have a great waist, which the dress shows off.
