Oh wow. My first thought was why in the world would you tell them so early, but then I saw the last thing you wrote. THat’s tough…is there anyway you can leave now, or at least a few weeeks before the wedding??  I wouldn’t bust my ass for them or anything, since you will be leaving soon, just do your normal work load and be done with it

Oh gotcha. If you can afford it, I say quit after closing. And yeah, congrats to your Dad for leaving there after so long, I know that was tough on him!! But so glad he is somewhere he loves now

OMG, THAT SUCKS! I had a similar situation when I left my last job, my boss wouldn’t speak to me for the ENTIRE two weeks…and I worked in an office of 5 people, so it was SO awkward! I can only imagine how bad it’d be for months on end.

Just keep your head up and know that you are being an awesome employee, and karma’s a bitch 😛

Thank goodness you can get out after the closing!

Totally understand what it’s like to stay at a crappy job with crappy attitudes. It blows!

Have you started a countdown calender yet? That might put a spring in your step, hehe.

I can’t believe they are treating you that way after you TOLD THEM months in advance (Let’s be honest, you didn’t HAVE to tell them. You chose to because you were trying to do the right thing, which is awesome. It’s unfortunate and jerk-y that they chose to respond by being assholes.) that you were going to have to leave due to moving to another area. A pox on them!

ugh! How stinky. You did them a favor by giving them enough time to work on finding a replacement and by saving them the money it would have taken you to be trained for a new position – the least they could do is let you take as many days off as you want.

What jerks. I wish you’d taken the position and left them in the lurch.
