I only really like the Verragio one.

    Verragio was my dream brand!

I love that sapphire. Gorgeous rich blue colour and those nice sized side diamonds are very sparkly and really show that beautiful blue off. The Tiffany is a bit underwhelming for me but then that is just my opinion.

Please choose whatever makes your heart sing no matter what it is.

sharkey38 :  I agree that the Verragio may feel dated after awhile. You seem to gravitate towards classic settings. Why not pick out a diamond you love locally and have it set in a classic setting similar to the Tiffany? You will get more bang for your buck than buying at Tiffany.

sharkey38 :  I love the Catalina from Brilliant Earth. The others are beautiful but they might look dated in 10 years (as is often the case with trendy jewelery). You can see the real ring without going to one of their showrooms. Just email them and ask them to send you some real photographs of that setting. That’s what I did when I was looking at rings (I wanted to see their Caliana ring), and they sent me some photos that gave me a much better idea of what the ring would look like in real life.

Out of the ones you posted, I love the sapphire! Even if you traditionally associate an engagement ring with a diamond rather than a colored gemstone, it still has 1 tcw of diamonds on the sides and they’re sizable, so it still seems like an engagement ring to me! The sapphire is just gorgeous, and it seems like you both really love that one. However, if you’re not sure, I would wait and think it over until you’re certain. You’re going to wear your ring for a long time, so you want to be sure you like it and won’t change your mind!

based on your comments it seemed that the sapphire spoke to you so that’s what I voted for. My personal preference would be the first one because I love the look of the simpler verragios! Can’t go wrong with any of them – maybe let him pick?

I voted for the sapphire before I saw your response about how you AND your SO felt about it. I think you should absolutely go with that one. It’s gorgeous!

Also- it’s a ring on your ering finger, it will definitely read as an engagement ring.

That sapphire fits your finger like magic. It’s perfect, I hope you get that one!

I think the verragio will date, the lab diamond isn’t worth it since it’ll only get cheaper to produce, and the Tiffany is way overpriced at retail.

As much as I love the blue one on your hand, I wouldn’t suggest a colored stone because I feel like you might get tired of the color at some point. It’s like always wearing the same nail polish – after a while I just need a change of color. A diamond will always match anything 🙂 I have the Tiffany setting and absolutely adore it (the price of your Tiffany option is a downer, though) but if you like something a little more different I totally vote Verragio <3

I would pick either #1 or #2. Tiffany is just expensive because it’s a Tiffany ring. In My Humble Opinion, not worth the extra cost. Both 1 & 2 are absolutely gorgeous!
