I know, I know!

We are still waiting on 20 cards/46 people.

Fiance and I have been calling, emailing and messaging people like crazy since Tuesday afternoon (our deadline for RSVPs was Friday and we waited until Tuesday’s mail because of the holiday) and we have yet to get answers.

And I’m a friggin’ wedding planner.  No one is immune to this. 🙂

I am still waiting to hear from about 55 people for my wedding too. We’ve tried to call/text/Facebook some people and they still won’t respond! So frustrating!

Without even opening the post I knew exactly what it was about LOL. I think every bride goes through this. It totally sucks.

Reading all these posts makes me want to be a bitch if this happens. Like if you don’t RSVP and show up anyway you have to wait at the door like at a club for someone to either not show up or leave so you can have their seat.

Kidding…

But seriously though I’m scared after reading all of these.

Who told you to invite them out of courtesy? I’d give them the job of tracking them down to get their responses 🙂

Oh man date twin, I feel you.

I literally made it so all you have to do is check a box and write a number…it’s even a postcard to make it easier!!!!

I think 20% of the people understand.

The ___ of ____ seats part has gotten many confused.  I’ve gotten ___ of __4__ 1 person attending.  Come on people read it.  Most people leave both blank, don’t check anything and just write their name in the bar.  I’m assuming it’s a yes.

I really thought I made it easy!

I’m shocked that my family has been so good about this.. I only have to chase down about 6 families/people! After hearing all of the weddingbee horror stories, I’m thrilled about this!

@jenewitt: I’ve been getting weirdo responses like that too! I didn’t know it was so confusing?

I swear I could have written this myself. My favorite? The verbal RSVP that went like this “I’m excited to bring my daughter, her baby daddy, her baby and my MIL!” Um, yeah…your invite was for one person, not 4 adults and a baby. <headdesk>

Ugh!!!!!!! I am so angry about this already because I know how the people in my Fiance’s family are.  I had a baby shower for his sister (whoa almost 3 years ago now) anyway I sent out the invitations and asked for an RSVP via email, telephone, or facebook (they had several options).  The reason I asked for rsvp’s at all is because we were having the shower at a place that was providing the food and we needed to know how much they needed to provide.  Two weeks before the shower only some people had RSVPed and I was like, ugh ok so I started calling, texting, emailing whatever means of contact I had for them.  Well one of the girls tells me, Oh honey you don’t  understand we are in Texas and there are lots of rednecks here so we just show up we don’t use fancy language like RSVP.  I was like ummmm well I guess you don’t need any fancy food either huh?  I am just dreading these people doing the same Sh*t to me when I send out my wedding invites.  @#$%*)(*&^%$#

I did an oops today…I mailed in an RSVP after the date they requested it… 🙁

BUT in my defense, they gave us only a week for turnaround time so…sorry!

Yeah rsvps were a problem for me, but I had no trouble calling them up and finding out if they were coming. Its so much more stress to not follow up. I now have all my rsvps except for 1 person and I am about to kick him out and replace him with a B-list because he cant decide if he is coming or not lol
