I HATE girls like that!  I can’t stand them!  I’m sorry, I am just passionate about it because almost every friend I’ve ever had has been this way.  This is why my Fiance and I won’t be able to have separate bachelor(ette) parties, because our GMs and BMs refuse to go anywhere without their SOs.  It is ridiculous!

I would never suggest bringing my Fiance to a damn bridal show!  He would die first!  We definitely do not mind doing things separately, at all.

I don’t understand the whole, “I left him at home yesterday…”  Uhh, doesn’t he have a f’n LIFE?!  Doesn’t he have one friend he can call to go hang out with?  A brother?  Weird.

HAHAHA! that is exactly what I was thinking when I read that! He’s a big boy he can take care of himself. I would hope she wouldn’t have to worry about him tearing the place apart, peeing on the floor and sitting by the door waiting for her and mad because she left him alone AGAIN!

Umm you have the right to be annoyed here! I mean why would he want to go to Bridal Expo anyway?!?!?!?! That sounds like hell for a guy…and for a couple of hours I would think he could manage…he did BEFORE her!

If I were a guy I think I would rather stay home than go to a bridal show, frankly (especially since the guy in question is not getting married yet)!

ah young love (or trying to make a good impression/get into her pants)….. i mean saying yes to be dragged to a bridal show is up there with guys attending baby showers – go find something better to do with your time

your friend is lame but we all have dumb moments – hopefully he wont put a damper on the day

I can understand her not wanting to take off on him  both weekend days. BUT, she knew she had this commitment with you. She should have planned something with him yesterday.

You have every right to be annoyed.  I would’ve told her that she could stay home with him.

Just try to make the best of it- who knows this dude could be a wedding planner extraordinaire! And wouldn’t it be ggod to have a male perspective on things? To reign you in when you get to pink and frothy!

Personally I would rather walk burning coals than go to a wedding expo! maybe your gal pal feels the same and needs someone there to keep her focused?

@MissCalifornia:  I’m sorry she did that.  You said you had those plans for about a month so she should have respected the commitment that she had already made with you.  You can vent any time thats what we are hear for

Yeah I totally would not have been ok with that.  I have told friends to stay at home since they can’t be without their SO for a few hours.

That’s very odd that this guy would even want to come to the bridal expo. I’m the bride, and I barely want to go to these things much less to my SO’s friend’s.
