(Closed) Service provider contracts. What is normal?

Every contract we have signed stipulates both sides; not just ours. I would not sign a contract with out the expectations of both sides spelled out. If I were you, I would steer clear of any contracts that don’t have both sets of expectation clearly written into the contract.

I would ask for amendments to be made before signing the contract. If they aren’t willing to commit to things in writing I would be leery of doing business with them.

It should show both and both parties should sign it.

Make sure before you sign anything they have that added or do not use them,

I say this only for your protection. As I type my client contracts I always specify exactly what my duties are and how I will fulfill them.
