Whoa! Three years? You must have the patience of a saint! Congrats on setting the date!

I wouldn’t even worry planning until about 1 1/2 years out. The problem is once you start planning you won’t be able to stop!

@tayy17:  Yayy! Congrats! I began planning my wedding about 1 and a half boefre the actual date. I let the guests know about a year before the date so they could plan there vacation and save accordingly. I think you have alot of time and at least you are able to do alot of research now on what you want πŸ™‚ Happy planning!

@tayy17:  Congrats! We started planning in August and we sent out our invites in October. Didn’t take much time at all! Luckily we got one of those amazing wedding packages through a resort in the pacific islands – so there is minimal planning on our end. As for the guests.. it really all depends where you’re thinking of having it/how expensive it will be for people to save.

Good luck! πŸ™‚

@tayy17:

I spoke to my travel agent, and she said 10 months before is when she can book packages. so I can plan-ish before then, like dress shopping and all that, but I can’t work on invites because It’s not on the resorts books until that 10 month window.

so I think you have LOTS of time to wait πŸ™‚
