Cross your fingers and toes, do your hair and makeup extra nice, and enjoy the event. It’ll be fun regardless! And who knows? It could be it!

Good luck and have fun!

@newcitylights:  Don’t set yourself up to be disappointed as you’re thinking negative about what sounds like a really nice night out with your SO. Of course an engagement would be wonderful but either way I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

Try to go into the night without any expectations, as difficult as that may sound. Just enjoy getting dressed up and looking fabulous! And keep us updated!

I used to get extra dressed up on special occasions thinking ‘this could be it’ but it never was. Its better to put the thought out of your mind so you’re not disappointed if he doesn’t, and super happy if he does.

Whenever it happens, I will be special because he will put thought into it and you will be marrying your love. 🙂 Don’t set yourself up for dissapointment or you will slowly start to resent him a little bit with every special event that goes by and he doesn’t pop the question.

I pretty much wrote a very similar post this morning…it’s hard not to let your mind wonder. I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your SO even if it doesn’t happen.

You may not get engaged that night, but either way it is your anniversary, so I say dress to kill!!
