Another one for Tarte’s Amazonian Clay finishing powder! My sister took mine on accident and I only managed to go two days before buying another one. It’s amazing!!

I use the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. It’s cheap and works great.

Another vote for Rimmer Stay Matte.  Just don’t pile it on or it will look cakey.

Kacie209:  I did my own makeup for my wedding day last weeking I used the Anastaisa Beverly Hills Contour kit as my sitting powder and finished it with Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray. it lasted all night long and looked great in flash photography

No retouces needed on my makeup

I love Make Up Forever’s Setting Powder. It makes my face soooo soft. I also like Urban Decay’s Up All Night (All nighter?, I forget) setting spray. I used both for my wedding and pics came out great.

I think it’s not talked about as much because usually “anything” matte without spf/silica will work fine.  I’d probably suggest rimmel stay matte for an inexpensive option. Use a setting spray too.

Don’t use silica powder. That’s how you end up looking like this.

Put your powder on BEFORE your foundation (I know that sounds insane) but IT WORKS!!

Has anyone used smashbox halo hydrating perfecting powder? If so, how well does it work?

CG4268:  I’ve used the ELF one before, I did notice on one occasion some flashback issues – so I wouldn’t reccommend it from my experience.

If your face tends to be oily I would stay away from setting sprays. I normally have dry skin and the setting sprays leave me oliy. I’m constantly pressing my face with tissues. I like to use Victoria’s secret setting powder!
