(Closed) Setting up chairs for ceremony

I don’t know the answer to that, but I am facing the same question. Following so that I can see how others respond.

I live in the DC area, but I’m getting married in a park in a small town in NJ where everyone I know is either invited to the wedding, or probably wondering why they weren’t invited to the wedding– so there is no one I could call to ask them to set it up, and I don’t know where to get vendors just for setting up chairs…

Contact your local party companies. They have workers you can hire that help with set up and take down and other small things if necessary. That’s what we did.

If the chairs are being delivered and you literally just need someone to set them out then its a pretty easy job, if you know any responsible teenagers who’d like to earn a bit of money you caould ask them. The idea above is good too.

Emily Tanner :  I got married in a rose garden and the chair vendor delivered, setup, and removed the chairs. 

There may be an additional cost, but well worth it!

Try your decorator. We are getting our chairs from our decorator because she quoted us WAY less than our venue per chiavari chair. She and her crew will be responsible for setting up, decorating, and removing the chairs. 

Otherwise, you sure your event rental company won’t set up for an extra charge?
