Darling Husband and I have once again engaged in The Great Debate over two food combinations:
Oreos and PB
Bacon and Syrup
Clearly, Oreos and peanut butter are DELICIOUS together, and I believe I am correct in feeling that bacon and syrup should remain unmarried with one another.
Darling Husband thinks oreos and pb is gross and gleefully dips bacon in syrup, which I find to be criminal.
Now, what say you!!

@mrsdrrose612: There are people who don’t dip their bacon in their syrup. Oh… that is so sad. Your poor lonely bacon, and the syrup who must only be happy with sad pancakes…
But seriously. Bacon and syrup are da bomb.
I’m not a big fan of oreos, but putting them with PB sounds delicious!

My husband says bacon and syrup and I say Oreos and peanut butter. Which I tried for the first time after watching The Parent Trap with Lindsey Lohan.

I don’t really like oreos unless they’re double stuffed and completely soggy with milk, but as for the bacon/syrup thing… I’m not a fan. Actually I’d go so far as to say I’m weird about foods touching foods that don’t belong together, so if syrup touches my bacon, I won’t eat the part that has syrup on it…. 🙁

Best freshman-year-in-college-discovery EVER was having Dairy Queen put a spoonful of peanut butter in my oreo blizzard. YUM! OMG, commence mouth-watering sequence now.
ETA: I’m not a huge fan of chocolate (GASP!) – so I’m the person that twists the oreo apart, eats the frosting out of the middle, and then throws away the cookies. Or just eats it with only 1 cookie-side intact. BUT, oreo-flavored desserts are magical.

@e_lynne615: it’s F$#%ing delicious! Makes it more like a creamy parmesian cheese meat sauce. my moms whole Fam does this, it’s “the hartman way” lol

@hopingtobeemrsv: Oh gosh… I really hate to say this, but I pretty much guarantee I’m going to be trying this the next time I make spaghetti.
You should all be expecting a very stern PM if I get addicted and can’t fit into my wedding dress because of my mayo-pasta and bacon-oreos.

@e_lynne615: be proud! No one else is brave enough to try it, warning, I only do like 1 tablespoon on top of the sauce then mix on your plate.
