I am an ice water fanatic. I drink ice water all day, everyday. I dont like pop or coffee, etc… I just like water. But I like my water ICE COLD. Fiance made a joke the other day saying “You know if you put less ice in the cup, you could actually get water in there too”
So bees, how much ice do you like in your drinks?
I personally do 3/4 of the cup full of ice. The colder, the better:)

I answered just based on water. I rarely put ice in water…

My Fiance drinks no ice, I drink about half full

Water, I’m like you. I fill the cup entirely with ice and then I pour water on top. Cubed only, no crushed ice for me.
For anything else I’m drinking, I like no ice.

@Barbiestylez: 3/4 cup. Anything less is no way to live!

@letigre: +1. I fill almost full with cubed ice and then pour water over it. (I have an ice/water dispenser on my fridge so that baby gets a lot of use! Nothing better than ice cold water. Nothing worse than warm water. Yuck!

@Barbiestylez: I prefer room temp water, so no ice for me. But in the summer I like maybe like 1-2 ice cubes in a 12 oz glass.

@Barbiestylez: I always put three ice cubes in my water. No more, no less. It still gets the water cold, but it lasts longer and I dont have to refill every four seconds.

I put in 3 ice cubes, so part way between no ice and 1/4 cup of ice.

@Barbiestylez: I don’t like ice because it melts and adds a weird taste to my water. I put my drinks in the fridge until they are ice cold but don’t actually have ice in them 🙂

I LOVE iced water. I always fill it to the rim with ice, and add water. I always have another bottle of water nearby for refills.
But, I really like cold drinks in general. If I drink a pop or tea, I also fill it at least 3/4 of the way, and then add the drink.
Fi doesn’t really like ice at all, he says it waters it down too much for him [water is the exception, obviously].

@Payless: That ice that melts IS water… why would it taste any different? I can understand not wanting ice to melt in a different drink and make it watery… but its already water?

My husband does what you do! He almost fills the whole cup with ice, then fills it with water, chugs the water, and repeats like 3 times because there’s so much ice in there that he barely gets any water!!! I do about 1/4 full of ice 🙂

For water, I fill it almost all the way with ice. For everything else, I like it less than 1/2.

I don’t like ice in any beverage but it is because I have sensitive teeth.
