I’m in Georgia… so we’re still waiting to get it.  Gotta get my candles together… times like this I’m soooo glad that Fiance is here!

I will be soon. What part of AL are you in? The weather here is usually just a few hours after y’all get it. (Does that make sense?) SO’s family lives in Enterprise, AL, and sometimes his Dad will call and say, “storms headin’ your way”.  I’m in the exact same boat you are-trailer surrounded by trees. Fun stuff.

As you probably know, “watch” just means the conditions are right for possible tornados, “warning” means a tornado has actually formed and been spotted.

Check out your community options, most cities have a “safe place” for people without basements. My grandma lives in tornado alley and doesn’t have a basement, she goes to the courthouse during tornado warnings, that’s her town’s community tornado shelter.

@SouthernGirl: Aaah, gotcha. We go right through Troy on the way to SO’s fam’s. Small world. Sending good “stay safe, no tornado” vibes your way!

We had some strong thunderstorms early this afternoon. They didn’t last long.

@SouthernGirl: Dealt with it earlier today as it moved through middle Tennessee! Lots of friends and family with downed trees, no power, etc.

Worst thing that happened to me was the inconvenience of being stuck in the library at work/ school under tornado warning lockdown.

Be strong! These storms will pass soon enough.
